Study On The Image Construction Of The Chinese Communist Party In The Kuomintang Area During The Anti-Japanese War

As an intangible political resource,party image shows whether the construction of a party is good or not.A good party image can gain the people's recognition support and improve the party's international image and status as well.It is an important indicator of the party's political appeal and influence.The Chinese Communist Party has always attached importance to the party's image construction from the revolution to long-term governance,which has played a solid role in safeguarding the cause of revolution,construction,reform and opening up,and socialist modernization.Chongqing is a city that has experienced heroic battles and has fought heroically for the victory of the revolution.On January 16,1939,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China decided to secretly establish the Southern Bureau as the representative office of the Party Central Committee stationed at the center of the Kuomintang(Chongqing)in the Eighth Route Army Office.The main strategic leadership of the work of leading the party in the southern Kuomintang and local enemy-occupied areas was self-evident.Under the leadership of Zhou Enlai,the Central Bureau of the CPC Central Committee took root in Chongqing,co-ordinated the overall situation,worked hard,responded to the difficulties,and made outstanding contributions to the image of the party in the Kuomintang area.This article attempts to conduct a comprehensive study of the background,measures,effectiveness,experience,and inspiration of the party image construction in the Kuomintang area(especially the wartime accommodating capital Chongqing)during the war.The content of this paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is an overview and is divided into two main areas.The first is the definition of the relevant connotations of the party's image construction in the Kuomintang area during the war of resistance;Secondly,the necessity of strengthening the party's image construction in the KMT region during the war of resistance was discussed one by one from an objective and subjective perspective.The second chapter is the main content of the article,introducing the five major measures taken by the Chinese Communist Party in strengthening the party's image construction in the KMT region during the Anti-Japanese War.Specifically include: Paying attention to its own construction highlights the good image of the party in the KMT region;The precepts and examples of preaching and teaching have demonstrated the image of the high-level cadres of the Chinese Communist Party;Concerned about the people's suffering reflects the party's image of the people for the people;The consolidation of the united front bastion demonstrates the open democratic image of the party;Borrow party newspapers and periodicals to promote the party's media image.The third chapter mainly sorts out the effectiveness of strengthening the party's image construction in the KMT region during the period of the Anti-Japanese War.It mainly includes: Strengthen the Party's own strength in the KMT region and enhance its international and domestic image;It promoted the loyalty of party members and enhanced the party's internal centripetal force;Won the support of the people of the republican region and broadened the party's mass base;Consolidating and expanding the power of the united front has laid a political foundation for the party to achieve national governance.The fourth chapter discusses the practical significance and enlightenment of strengthening the image of the party in the KMT region during the period of the Anti-Japanese War.It mainly includes: Comprehensively strengthening the party's work style is an inherent requirement for the promotion of the party's image;The purpose of always serving the people wholeheartedly is to improve the party's image.Actively shaping the good image of party members and cadres is a powerful guarantee for the promotion of the party's image;Giving full play to the public opinion guiding role of party newspapers and periodicals is an important way to enhance the party's image.
