In recent years,women took more and more important roles in top management team and their opinions had greater and greater influence on the enterprise strategic decision.Lots of scholars began to study the relationship between the female executives and enterprise innovative performance,but until now,there is no consistent conclusion in the relationship study.This thesis is going to study the relation among female executives,social capital and enterprise innovation performance.This thesis used the data of all listed companies on pharmaceutical manufacturing industry from 2014 to 2016 for analysis.First,based on the Upper Echelons Theory,Social Capital Theory and Resource-Based View,this study summarized the past researches about female executives,social capital and enterprise innovation performance.Second,it raised a hypothesis between female executives and enterprise innovation performance.Then add the social capital as moderator variable to further study the impact between female executives and enterprise innovation performance.Third,terminate the relation among the female executives,social capital and enterprise innovation performance with regression analysis,and at the meanwhile,consider the external elements including company size,TMT size,company age,the proportion of R&D people and R&D input of the company whether they influence the above hypothesis.In the end,it found(1)female executives positively related to enterprise innovation performance;(2)female horizontal relation of social capital positively moderate the relation between female executives and enterprise innovation performance;(3)female vertical relation of social capital positively moderate the relation between female executives and enterprise innovation performance.This thesis gives a further evidence about the relationship between top management team,female executives and enterprise innovative performance.It also provides more perspectives on the study of female executive and enterprise innovative performance.Regarding to the company governance,the thesis helps the company to recognize the unique effect on the female executives in top management team.We advise the company to found rational gender structure and give more chances to the female executives in company's strategic management.
