The continuous development of information technology has brought people closer to people and has brought great convenience to people's lives.However,as information technology pulls in people's distances,it also further compresses the individual's independent space.The risk of citizens' personal information being interfered with and infringed by others is further increased.At present,China has not yet established a unified law on information protection,and the security of personal information is not properly protected,which further exacerbates the seriousness of personal information protection.This paper analyzes the significance of China's personal information legislation and the existing problems in China by combining the needs of China's current social development.It also draws on the experience and achievements of individual countries in the protection of personal information and provides some suggestions for the construction of China's personal information legal system.For reference suggestions.It is hoped that it will be helpful for China to establish the “Personal Information Protection Law” as soon as possible.This article is divided into four chapters.The first part of the first chapter mainly introduces the basic rules of personal information,including the different representations of personal information,as well as the different expressions of their respective meanings,scopes,causes,distributions,etc.,as well as the characteristics of personal information.The personal information is similar to it-the relationship between personal privacy.The latter part mainly introduces the nature of personal information.After summarizing the main viewpoints of the current academic community on the attributes of personal information,talk about their own views.Then from the two perspectives of personality rights and forgotten rights,the author elaborates the rights basis of personal information rights.Finally,it briefly discusses the relationship between personal information and national security.The second chapter mainly introduces three modes of personal information protection in the world: the American model,the European Union model,and the Japanese model.The development process of the three models,their respective social foundations,current legislative status,and scope of protection are discussed in detail.The first half of the third chapter is to discuss the necessity of establishing a personal information protection law in accordance with the needs of the developmentof the times.The latter part lists the existing legal provisions related to the protection of personal information in China and points out the existing problems.In the fourth chapter,based on the advanced experience of foreign legislation,we propose corresponding suggestions for the problems existing in our country to improve the construction of our country's personal information protection system.In addition,we must also improve the legal awareness of our citizens.
