Contemporary Rural Governance Research In Political Culture

China society is in the midst of a transformation,the transformation of National Governance Mode is also an important part in it.As a great agriculture country,the modernization of rural governance is the key basis in contemporary modern governance.The current academic research focuses on the rural governance which is more concentrated in villager autonomy system design,but nowadays the research that how to adjust about the relationship between traditional political culture and rural governance is not sufficient.This paper attempts to re-examine the situation of China rural political culture and proposes the optimization strategy for the rural governance of political culture through comparing the traditional Family-State of political culture and modern Nation-State of civic culture to achieve the goal of “appraising the past,thinking the future.”As for the full-text,the subject is divided into four parts.The first part summarizes the characteristic of Family-State in traditional China rural society,and expounds the factors such as land,blood relationship and Confucian ethics which played an important role in the formation of it.On this basis,the country has formed coexistence of autonomy that contains family-dominated culture,squire,and village system.The second part focused on the modern nation-state's political culture.It analyzes the historical reasons that the commodity economy,the war,the Renaissance,the Enlightenment form for the modern Nation-State.Secondly,according to Almond's Civic Culture View,this part dissects the basic characteristic of the democratic,law,freedom in the modern Nation-State.And,in terms of this concept,we can make a qualitative analysis to Chinese traditional rural village and modern village's political culture as well.The third section analyzes the situation of political culture in China's contemporary rural.This part tries to make some explanation on the state power submergence,development of market economy and the construction of rural self-government.To some extent,both of these factors led to the rule of law,freedom and democracy civic culture,and they are also impact the traditional rural political culture.So,the village shows that contradictory coexistence--traditional village political culture and modern civic culture are existed together.Therefore,how to balance and process these two kinds of culture better is particularly important for rural governance.The fourth part puts forward some countermeasures which promotes the modernization of rural governance by the optimization of the political culture from the point of view of achieving governance modernization.First of all,it starts from the basic values of governance to set up the goal of culture construction of rural governance.Secondly,we should re-evaluate the traditional political culture,and explore positive cultural elements about Confucianism for constructing a good rural governance mode.At the same time,we also should to face up the Confucian political culture's negative heritage;finally,through the development of diversified rural social organization,we can construct the contemporary organization platform for the growth of the rural governance culture.
