The Study Of "Alt-right"

It is undoubted that the Presidential Election of President of the United States of America is one of the most prominent political events occurring in 2016,during which the public attention was drawn to a new political group and social phenomenon.The “Alternative Right” group(Alt-right),which appears to be a subgroup of the right wing conservative establishment,suddenly draws the attention of the media and the politicos all over the world.This dissertation aims at combing and analyzing the intertwined relations between the right-wing establishment and the “Alt-right” group with the example of the political figure Steven Bannon,then managing to conclude what impact will this phenomenon bring to the American conservatism and the American society and its politics.Chapter 1 works as the introduction chapter to raise the question and introduce the conservatism‘s connotation in ideological sphere and in real politics,respectively;Chapter 2 compares and analyses the conservatives and the “Alt-right” phenomenon;Chapter 3 takes the presidential election of the United States of America in 2016 as the example to analyze what role the “Alt-right” group plays in this political event;Chapter 4 take takes the political figure Steve Bannon as the example to further analyze the connection and the differences between the “Alt-right”roup and the conservative establishment,and the Trump administration as well.
