In recent years,"religious fever" has risen quietly, and the proportion of religious beliefs has continued to increase. It is characterized by "a nationwide existence and partial concentration." The regional aggregation of religious beliefs has promoted the formation of regional religious and cultural traditions, and provided natural conditions for the regional gathering of entrepreneurs with certain religious belief characteristics, such as the Wenzhou area, which is dominated by "boss Christians." "Back to Merchants" is deeply influenced by Islamic culture and is concentrated in the northwest region and the emerging "Fujian Buddhism" Fujian region. The value concept and social trust formed under the influence of religious culture are important factors in regulating corporate ethics.Charitable corporate donation behavior is one of the important ways to reflect its business ethics and display corporate image. This paper takes the recessive(non-institutional environment)factor of religion as the research perspective, and analyzes the differences in corporate charitable donations under different religious and cultural traditions.Select representative regions affected by different religious and cultural traditions as alternatives to religious cultural traditions, and use the three-year data of 313 Shanghai-Shenzhen A-share listed companies in selected regions as a sample for analysis. The study found that there are differences in corporate charitable donations under different religious and cultural traditions.Compared with Buddhism and Islam, companies affected by Christian culture have higher willingness to donate and donate charitable donations, and the continuity of charitable donations is optimal, forming a group donation effect. From the perspective of donation channels, the level of charitable donations of Islamicaffected companies is relatively low,but the enthusiasm for donations is higher.Charitable donations are more likely to flow into poverty alleviation;charitable donations from companies affected by Buddhist cultural traditions are large. The corporate donation effect driven by companies has a higher overall donation level. This article generally verifies the differences in donation intentions, levels, and fields of corporate charity donations in different religious and cultural regions, and provides new research ideas for understanding the impact of religious culture on corporate charitable donations.
