A Study On The Construction Of Harmonious Relationship Between Police And People In Jiangmen

Since the adoption of the reform and opening-up policy,the views and values of Chinese citizens have undergone profound changes.People's consiousness of the rights has been awakened.interest differentiation and social contradictions are changing constantly.The relationship between police and people is facing many new problems and new challenges.Especially in the 21 st century,China's economy is developing rapidly.Science and technology innovation is changing with each passing day.Social transformation is speeding up,Social security situation has undergone significant changes.The good relationship between police and people formed over a long period of time has confronted great impact.In this context,the study of how to build a harmonious relationship between police and people would be important and significant to improve people's trust and satisfaction to the work of public security,and to enhance the support from people to the Party's governance.Jiangmen is located in the western pearl river delta region,adjacent to Foshan,Zhongshan,Hong kong and Macao.It is a place with frequent population movement and complicated public security situation.Jiangmen is the hometown of overseas Chinese with unique geographical characteristics and historical culture,where the local residents and overseas Chinese are still in constant contact.Once there are large-scale group incidents which aggravate the disharmony of relationship between police and people,overseas Chinese abroad are frequently invovled.Therefore,to analyze and study the existing problems and influencing factors in the relationship between police and people in Jiangmen,and to build a harmonious relationship is not only an important initiative to build a harmonious society of socialism applying the spirit of the 19 th National Congress of CPC,but also a fundamental requirement for sustainable development of Jiangmen public security,constructing "a Safe Jiangmen" in compliance with local conditions,and wholeheartedly serving people.Applying the methods of references analyzing,investigation analysis,and experience summary,based on the theoretical study of the relationship between police and people domestic and overseas and field investigation towards the current situation and existing problems,this essay analyzes the influencing factors of relationship between police and people in Jiangmen for the purpose of providing basis for decision making to Jiangmen'spublic security organs.Based on the reality,from the subject,object and external social factors which influence the relationship between police and people,this essay puts forward the countermeasures to defuse the disharmony of the relationship and suggestions for Jiangmen's public security organs to build a harmonious relationship.
