The essential question of this dissertation is what kind of global governance model can support the governance process of everyday life.First of all,by analyzing the global issues of everyday life, comparing the diachronic changes and the characteristics with Agnes Heller' s Critique of Everyday Life, the author pointed out that the " internal causes" of the global issues of everyday life were some relatively stable factors which included the basic structure of everyday life, and the general model of human' s everyday behavior and thinking. This argument mentioned above indicated that the structure of everyday life is the object of the governance of everyday life, while the humankind is the main governance subject.Secondly, the dissertation has made a review work, discussing how much attention did the current global governance system pay to everyday life. The dissertation points out that global governance of everyday life is lack of "reflectiveness",which means the object and the responsible subject of the governance process are not clear. Two factors cause this problem. On the one hand, because of the instrumental rationality, the current global governance system focuses on international rules, resulting in the "absence" of humankind in global governance. On the other hand, the unequal foundation of the global governance system impeded the efforts to change the global governance system. Thus, the issues of everyday life had some difficulties to enter the problem domain of global governance.Innovation of the governance concepts would be the key to the change of global governance.Based on the "reconstruction" part of Heller's Critique of Everyday Life, the dissertation suggests the idea of humanitarianism in the governance of everyday life, which includes Changing the attitude towards everyday knowledge, communicating based on the principle of equality and developing the "individuality" in everyday life. Finally, the dissertation analyzes the case of Slow Food International, which includes the work of University of Gastronomic Science to promote the individual's unique experience in daily life by its “taste education”,and the establishment of a fair and sustainable distribution system between producers and consumers to resist the exploitation of interests from the global distribution network. The governance model provided by Slow Food International embodies the principles of theglobal governance of everyday life.
