Research On Countermeasures For The Crime Of Terrorist Financing

Terrorist activities have always been recognized as one of the most destructive crimes in the world,and their brutality and inhumanity have always threatened world peace and national stability.Combating terrorist activities is a consensus formed by all countries in the world.In recent years,all countries are actively exploring effective countermeasures to combat terrorist activities.Among them,cutting off the financial resources of terrorist organizations and restricting their survival and development from an economic perspective is a new way to combat terrorist activities besides military and diplomatic means.As is known to all,money is necessary for terrorist organizations to maintain normal operation,in recent years,led by the United States,Britain,experience is more rich western countries in terms of how to effectively cut off terrorist funding provides many countermeasures,with reference value as to crack down on the crime of terrorism financing in China starts late,less practical experience,the imperfection of the legal system,in order to effectively combat terrorist activities,bear the responsibility of the country,our country is gradually on the basis of the exploration for reference path suitable for China’s national conditions of terror.This paper is based on this background to study the topic,through the analysis of the characteristics and causes of terrorist financing crime put forward feasible countermeasures for the governance of terrorist financing crime.To be specific,this paper is divided into four parts.The first part mainly sorts out the similarities and differences in the definition of terrorist financing crime at home and abroad,and makes a comparative analysis of their similarities and differences.The second part mainly analyzes the characteristics,causes and means of terrorist financing crimes,and obtains the three causes,three characteristics and two different criminal means of terrorist financing crimes through literature analysis.The third part mainly analyzes the current situation of combating terrorism financing crimes and the problems existing in the process of combating terrorism financing crimes in China.The fourth part mainly focuses on the problems pointed out in the third part and puts forward some feasible countermeasures in line with China’s national conditions by referring to the mature experience of foreign countries.As is known to all,the fight against terrorism financing crime is not only a national public power authority’s responsibility and obligation,but also each maintain world peace,economic and stable development of the individual’s responsibility and obligation,should unite the people around the world through a series of practical and feasible policies and measures,to effectively combat terrorist activities contribute their strength.
