A Study On The Influencing Factors Of Alumni's Charitable Donation To Almamater Education Foundation

With the deepening of the reform of higher education in our country and perfecting of the construction of the modern university system,higher education foundation plays an increasingly important role in supporting the construction and development of colleges and universities.Not only do colleges and universities pay more attention to the fundraising activities of educational foundations and their effects,but also the society pays more attention to educational foundations.Among the funds raised by higher education foundations,individual donations are an important part of the overall donations,and alumni play an important role.As an important resource of colleges and universities,alumni is an important channel for college foundations to raise funds.However,due to the late development of the foundation of higher education in China,there is still a big gap between the donation results of alumni and those of foreign universities.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the influencing factors of alumni donation.Taking the education foundation of Beijing university of posts and telecommunications as an example,this study takes the alumni of Beijing university of posts and telecommunications as the main research object and focuses on the influencing factors of alumni donation.The overall framework of this paper is divided into four parts:the first part mainly summarizes the research results of influencing factors of alumni donation at home and abroad through literature review;In the second part,the author makes an investigation and analysis of the actual donation situation of BUPT alumni by referring to relevant materials and grasps the current situation of BUPT alumni donation;The third part makes an empirical study on the influencing factors of alumni donation by means of interviews and questionnaires,explores the actual influencing factors of BUPT alumni donation,and sorts out the relations among the influencing factors;The fourth part mainly puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to promote alumni donation.This study based on the current situation of Beijing university alumni donations,obtaining the most real view of alumni,through the analysis of the data at the same time,further affecting factors are summarized,from personal factors,factors of colleges and universities,factors of universities foundation and other factors four aspects to find the actual impact factors affecting alumni donations,and combing the relationship between influencing factors.The innovation of this research lies in the in-depth analysis of the influencing factors of alumni donation.Firstly,the educational foundation of Beijing university of posts and telecommunications is selected as the research object to make the research subject more targeted.Secondly,through the investigation to obtain the most authentic first-hand data,the influencing factors of the alumni donation of BUPT are analyzed and discussed.Finally,from the perspective of the donation process,this paper classifies and sorts out the influencing factors,analyzes the relationship between the influencing factors,and further explains how each factor affects the donation behavior of alumni,so as to make the research results more practical.
