Research On The Influencing Factors Of The Pension Service Demand In University Community

Under the background of the aging population in the country,the university community has become an important retirement community due to the convenient campus facilities and strong cultural atmosphere.Compared with the elderly in the general community,the elderly in the university community have the characteristics of high cultural level,superior social status,and advanced pension awareness,and the demand for community care services has certain special characteristics.Based on this,exploring the characteristics of the elderly care service demand and its influencing factors in the university community will help to improve the pertinence and effectiveness of service provision,and thus improve the quality of life of the elderly.Therefore,this article takes the faculty community of a university in Xi'an as an Example and has carried out the following research:Firstly,through the questionnaire survey of the elderly in the community to obtain analysis data,to understand the characteristics of the elderly pension service demand in university community.From the aspects of education level,economic income level,family characteristics and ideological concepts,this paper analyzes the characteristics of the elderly in university community.On this basis,with reference to relevant literature,the paper selects four types of care services including life care,medical care,spiritual culture and self-realization,to analyze the characteristics of the pension service demand for the elderly in university from three aspects: the choice of pension mode,the demand for care service and the satisfaction of demand.The study found that the overall demand level of senior in university community is not high,but there is a difference in the level of demand for different types of services.As for the degree of demand satisfaction,the demand of the elderly in university community are not effectively met.Then,using regression analysis to explore the influencing factors of the pension service demand for the elderly in university,and to examine the direction and intensity of each factor.The framework of the influencing factors of the pension service demand category was constructed from the four dimensions of individual characteristics,family characteristics,socio-economic characteristics and cultural factors.The binary logistic regression model was used to analyze the overall demand and different types of demand of the elderly in university.The regression results show that the demand for pension care services is affected by the level of education,self-assessment health,mental health,the number of children and the personal monthly income level,and the factors affecting different types of service demand are different.Finally,according to the results obtained from the foregoing analysis,the suggestions are proposed: It is clear that the supply of university community care services is based on the principle of demand orientation,combination of medical care and combination of education and learning.On this basis,this paper put forward suggestions to meet the demand of the elderly in university community by integrating the resources of university,improving the service facilities for the aged,and providing differentiated services for the aged,and point out the definition of the responsibility of the main body of the pension care services and the establishment of cooperation mechanisms between the service providers to ensure the supply of aged care services.
