Research On The Provisions Relate To Terrorism In The Criminal Procedure Law

Nowadays,the situation of anti-terrorism is very serious.The crime of terrorist activities is marked by violent activities,which has caused indelible harm to the development of society and the peace and development of the world.It also greatly hinders the economic development and social progress of all countries,making it a top priority to fight against terrorist activities.China's anti-terrorism criminal procedure legislation has gone through a process from scratch,from substantive law to procedural law.Although China's criminal procedure law has some provisions on the crime of terrorist activities,the provisions on terror-related clauses in the criminal procedure law are not perfect.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is about the legislative review and current situation of terrorist crimes in the criminal procedure law of our country.It summarizes the concept of terrorist crimes and the legislative review and current situation of terrorist crimes in the criminal procedure law of our country.The second chapter discusses the existing problems of the terror-related provisions in the criminal procedure law.It elaborates from two aspects: the system of the terror-related provisions in the criminal procedure law is not strong enough and not perfect enough.The third chapter puts forward some Suggestions to improve the criminal procedure law.From the two aspects of the necessity and Suggestions to improve the provisions related to terrorism in the criminal procedure law,we will improve the provisions related to terrorism from the aspects of special chapter provisions in special procedures,criminal investigation procedures,witness protection procedures,establishment of citizen report,legal reward procedures for revealing terrorist activities and so on.To improve the provisions of the criminal procedure law relating to terrorism is an important measure to strengthen criminal counter-terrorism.This paper argues that the improvement of the relevant provisions on terrorism in the criminal procedure law is the key to the rule of law.Only by improving the provisions on terrorism in the criminal procedure law,active exchanges between experts and scholars,and active participation of citizens in reporting,can terrorism crimes be better dealt with.
