Research On Social Work Intervention In Home-based Care Service

With the deepening of aging in China,the problem of old-age care is becoming more and more serious.At present,the traditional family and institutional care cannot meet the increasing diversified needs of the elderly.In this case,vigorously developing home-based care services to cope with the issue of old-age care has gradually become a social consensus.However,due to the initial exploration stage of the home care service,there are problems such as single service content,insufficient supply,and lack of professionalism.In order to further improve the level of home-based care for the elderly in China,social work intervention in home-based care services as a supplement to home-based care services,and it has gradually become a new service framework for improving home-based care services.As a new attempt,at present,the intervention of social work in home-based pension service is mainly through the purchase of home-based pension service projects by the government,and social work institutions as the carrier to carry out the intervention service mode.In-depth exploration of this new service framework to grasp the practice of social work involvement in home-based pension service s,It is of great significance to promote social work to intervene in the better development of home-based pension services,so as to further improve the level of home-based pension services.This paper is based on the hierarchy of demand theory,welfare pluralism theory and social support network theory.This paper studies the service practice of social work institutions involved in home-based pension service,through the study of service process and service content,explores the advantages of this service form,what difficulties it encounters,and how to solve these difficulties in order to better promote its development.This paper chooses the method of case study and the S social work organization in Jinan as the research object.By using in-depth interviews,combined with literature and observation as supplementary comprehensive methods to collect data,to obtain the relevant content of research topics.The main findings are as follows.(1)The advantages of social work intervention in home-based pension services are obvious,as follows:meeting the needs of the elderly at multiple levels,improving their physical and mental well-being;Actively guide the participation of the elderly,and build a self-help support network platform for the elderly;Professional elements are injected into the whole process of service,which to some extent improves the service level of home-based old-age care in the service area.(2)Social work intervention in home-based pension services has also encountered some difficuIties.At the institutional level,it shows that the purchase mechanism is not perfect and the evaluation system is not perfect.At the level of social work institutions,they are highly dependent on the government and lack of operational independence.The immature management system affects the enthusiasm of work.Insufficient supervision and training can hardly meet the needs of social workers.Relevant service personnel are highly mobile and lack of stability.The professionalism of social work needs to be improved.At the community level,it is manifested as:insufficient awareness of social workers by the social neighborhood committees;The service object's overall participation consciousness is not high.(3)In view of the above difficulties,this paper puts forward the following suggestions.Institutional level:improve the mechanism of government purchasing services,improve the service evaluation system;At the level of social work organization,we should broaden the channels of project acquisition and expand the sources of funds.Optimize the management system of the organization and improve the stability of service personnel.Strengthen the construction of social work specialty and consolidate practical ability;Community level:Promote the change of community management role and enhance the sense of cooperation;Deeply carry out propaganda work to enhance the awareness of participation of the elderly.
