With the developments of economy and society,the implement of one-child policy and the prolongation of people's average longevity,the process of our nation's aging population has sped up so that how to make sure the elderly well taken of becoming an urgent social problem nowadays.The party and the government as well as those relevant authorities are paying high attention to it and exploring actively the aged mechanism suitable for our national conditions.So far,there are mainly three patterns of pension modes:traditional family supporting,special institution endowment and community service for home care of the elderly based on families and communities.The traditional family supporting mode has the flaws of the overburdened children,the low degree of specialization and the neglect of spiritual consolation.Restricted.by conventional ideology and economic conditions,the institution endowment receives low acceptance.Community aged care model provides day care and door-to-door service with the aged which can satisfy the needs of the elderly pretty well,and it is the most accordant and effective endowment in our country nowadays.Recently,our national community aged care exists problems of the shortage of service supply,low proportion and quality,which cannot meet the diversified requirements of social pensions.The combination of social work and community aged care can infuse the concept of "help human to help oneself" into the local areas of provision for the aged,which enable the old people to enjoy the convenience,professional service at home and better satisfy the needs of the social pension service and improves their living quality and level of happiness.In the meantime,it also creates a good atmosphere of helping the aged and promotes the integration of communities.This paper sets the typical community F in Hefei as an example,through the means of a three-month internship,interview and questionnaires,and fully understands the characteristics as well as the demands of the old people in F and combines the service of infrastructure construction and personnel allocation with the analysis of the matching degree of the needs of the aged.so it reveals the non-professional and inadequate of community home care service and shows the necessity and feasibility of exploration of the combination of social work and community home care service.There are mainly two ways for social workers in F to get involved in that service:direct and indirect.Direct involvement includes case work,team work and community work.Case work mainly focus on certain old man and his family,psychological counsel by thinking of the past or life,and solve their daily problem and recover their social function so that they can enjoy their old age by door-to-door service.The elderly group work chiefly pays their attention on organizing the old people participated in group activities,founding interests groups,setting mutual help networks,enriching their lives and improving their living quality.Elderly community work mainly based on the traditional festivals and anniversaries,develops varied activities suitable for the old and young.and lessen theestrangement and loneliness in the old man's inner heart that helps to create a good atmosphere of loving the aged.Indirect social work consists of linking resources from school,hospital,enterprises and so on,striving for more social forces participating in community home care service;Cultivating and developing local volunteers to join in social activities;As well as getting involved in the decision-making of the construction of community home care service.This paper elaborates it based on specific cases.Social work spot in F community has made productive progress and won the old and their relative's recognition after several years' efforts.While the deficiencies of low professionalization,the singleness of service type and the discordant of supply and demand can not be ignored.This paper aims to set the typical case of F as the research object,and extend it to the environment of our whole country.Through perfecting the systems of community endowment service,strengthening the construction of talent team in social network,searching for external resources and promoting social propaganda,it puts forward series of targeted solutions and suggestions and accelerates the social work to make a breakthrough in urban community endowment services so as to make better developments.
