The Geopolotical Risk And Spatial Distribution Of China’s OFDI

In today’s complex economic situation,globalization problems related to the well-being of each country,each nation and the development,economic ties between countries depends not only on the state of the bilateral political relations,but also depends on other surrounding the country’s political and economic factors.In today’s inverse under the background of globalization and anti-globalization looked up,the development of all countries in the world still faces serious problems,and in recent years China’s advocate and promote the "area"cooperation initiative is realizes the concrete actions of the economic globalization in China.Since China launched the "area" initiative,which aims to strengthen international exchanges and cooperation,promote resource advantage complementary,realize common development of the great strategic vision of international society wide attention and positive response.In recent years,with the active support of all parties,relevant work has been steadily promoted and China’s investment in countries along the belt and road has also increased.However,countries along the"One Belt And One Road" due to the vast area,different level of economic development,ethnic and religious issues and political situation is complicated,Chinese enterprises in the process of "going out" is facing serious geopolitical risk,on China’s foreign direct investment will produce a great impact.This paper mainly discusses the influence of geopolitical risk factors on the spatial distribution of China’s foreign direct investment in the process of direct investment in the countries along the One Belt and One Road.In the empirical analysis based on the 2003-2014 "neighbourhood"all the way along the route of the 51 countries data as sample,using the spatial econometric model of frontier of China’s "neighbourhood" all the way along the route of national investment characteristics and influence factors are analyzed,and the following conclusions:first,China’s"neighbourhood" all the way along the country’s direct investment to maintain growth,but significant differences in time and space;Second,in this paper,the geopolitical risk is divided into violent geopolitical risk peace and geopolitical risk,the empirical results found that,on the whole,violent geopolitical risk and China’s foreign direct investment has significant negative correlation,and peaceful type geopolitical risk,there is no significant impact on China’s foreign direct investment,but further specific to individual regions such as southeast Asia,the Middle East and central Asia,China’s OFDI affected by peaceful type geopolitical risk significant boost again;Third,China has a significant spillover effect on OFDI of host country;Finally,China’s "neighbourhood" all the way along the country direct investment drive obviously differences in southeast Asia region is given priority to with market seeking and seeking efficiency,in the Middle East and central Asia investment is given priority to with natural resources to seek,in west Asia,eastern Europe,mainly technology for type.
