A Study On The Allocation Of Urban Elderly Care Resources In Hebei Province Based On Spatial Feature

As China enters a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the overall aging of the population has become increasingly severe,and the allocation of elderly care resources has attracted more and more attention.How to allocate various elderly care resources reasonably has become one of the current research hotspots.Against the background of population aging,this paper analyzes the spatial distribution of the elderly population in various cities in Hebei Province based on spatial analysis methods,and combines the elderly population and elderly care resources with an index system evaluation method to summarize the current situation of the elderly population and elderly care resources.Based on specific indicators,this paper analyzes the fairness and matching degree of the allocation of elderly care resources,and finally proposes some suggestions to solve the problem of regional allocation of elderly care resources in Hebei Province.This paper mainly focuses on the matching relationship between elderly care resources and spatial characteristics of the elderly population in Hebei Province from three aspects.First,11 prefecture-level cities in Hebei Province were chosen as the research sample,and GIS tools were used to study the latest data,such as the 6th and 7th national population censuses from 2010 to 2020,the statistical yearbook of Hebei Province,and the statistical data of the Civil Affairs Department of each city in Hebei Province.Through the depiction of spatial distribution and evolution maps of the elderly population in Hebei Province over the past 10 years,this study analyzed the spatial distribution characteristics of the elderly population using the aging index.The comprehensive elderly population index was constructed based on the elderly dependency ratio,the elderly population index model,and the elderly population coefficient,which were used to explore the time and space dimensions of the current aging level.Secondly,the paper first referred to existing research results on the evaluation of elderly care resources,determined the elderly care resource indicators that needed to be analyzed,and conducted kernel density analysis on the changes in different indicators over the years.According to the elderly care resource indicators,an evaluation index system was constructed,and a TOPSIS method was used for comprehensive evaluation to explore the distribution of elderly care resources in various cities in Hebei Province.Finally,the matching situation between the geographic distribution of the elderly population in Hebei Province and elderly care resources was explored.First,the fairness was analyzed by using Lorenz curve and Gini coefficient,and then each prefecture-level city was divided into different zones to explore the reasons for fairness using concentration index and Theil index.Based on the geographic concentration of the elderly population and elderly care resources,a formula was used to calculate the degree of matching of elderly care resources,and the differences in the allocation of elderly care resources among prefecture-level cities in Hebei Province were calculated.Finally,suggestions were made for the allocation of elderly care resources in Hebei Province.
