Research On The Struggle Of The Underground Party In Peiping During The War Of Liberation

As the ancient capital of China for thousands of years,Peiping has been a military and commercial center in the north from ancient times to the present.Peiping had great strategic significance in military,political,economic and cultural fields.The communist party of China peacefully liberated Peiping in a bloodless way and returned it completely to the hands of the Chinese people.It is not only related to the front-line combat of the People's Liberation Army,but also closely related to the leadership of the Underground Party.From the angle of underground party struggle,this paper studies the underground party in Peiping in a comprehensive way.And the main conclusions are as follows:Firstly,the historical background of Peiping during the War of Liberation.It includes the complex political situation,the severe economic situation,and the control and plunder of the Kuomintang over the Peiping area.The vast majority of the people suffered from hunger and cold,and their lives were not guaranteed.They were cruelly suppressed by the Kuomintang.As a result,the government officials made staggering profits,the people were destitute.The complex and chaotic situation in Peiping has prompted a determined struggle among workers,students,businessmen and workers from all walks of life.Practitioners in their own positions,held demonstrations or strikes,can try their best to protest against the Kuomintang reactionaries.They have effectively cooperated with the work of the underground Party and accelerated the victory of the War of Liberation.Secondly,the main organizational forms and struggle strategies of the Underground Party staff during the period of the Peiping Liberation War were obtained.The resistance activities are carried out by three categories : the Inside organizations,the Intermediate organization and the Outside organization.They are independent and cooperate with each other to ensure the orderly progress of activities.Meanwhile,the struggle strategy of the underground party is analyzed from six aspects.(1)Ideological preparation and mobilization.(2)Combining political struggle with economic struggle.(3)Combining Open Work with Secret Work.(4)Close ties with the masses.The Underground Party attaches great importance to the daily education of mass work,strives for the masses and establishes a strong mass base,so as to develop and strengthen the Party's strength.(5)Comply with reasonable,advantageous and restrained strategies.(6)Cooperate with the liberated areas.The Underground struggle and armed struggle in liberated areas support and cooperate with each other,so that the Underground Party work has been guided and people in liberated areas have been helped.Thirdly,through the literature study,the main forms of struggle of the UndergroundParty staff during the Peiping Liberation War were obtained.Starting from protesting against the Kuomintang's atrocities and launching struggles against the Kuomintang directly,this part introduces the main forms of struggle against the Kuomintang from organizing activities,collecting information,intensifying and utilizing contradictions within the Kuomintang,instigating military uprisings,and protecting urban facilities in order to welcome the PLA into the city.It reproduces the wisdom and determination of the Underground party and the close coordination with the masses.Finally,the main achievements of the Underground Party of Peiping in the process of peaceful settlement of Peiping are summarized.The Underground Party of Peiping in cooperation with the PLA peacefully liberated Peiping in a bloodless way,avoided the war,preserved the ancient city intact and saved the people from tremendous loss of life and property.It sets up a typical case of urban liberation,Peiping way,which provides methods and ideas for the subsequent liberation of many cities and reduces the loss of people and property greatly.In this way,the anti-people nature of Chiang kai-shek was quickly crushed at home,and the political leadership of the CPC(the Communist Party of China)was quickly achieved,which laid a solid foundation for the establishment of new China.Above all,the underground Party of Peiping played an indispensable role in the process of liberating Peiping.Therefore,the experience and contribution of the Underground Party struggle can be regarded as a valuable spiritual wealth.The attention and correct leadership of the party is the important guarantee of underground work,party member firm faith is the spiritual pillar of the underground struggle to succeed,stick to unite the masses and the mass line is the basic guarantee of the Chinese communist party communist victory.The immortal revolutionary spirit of underground Party members of the Communist Party of China is an important part of contemporary patriotic education and revolutionary traditional education.To carry forward the revolutionary spirit of the Underground Party of the Communist Party of China is of great enlightenment to the work of the Party's construction,the mass line and the United front.
