Research On The Women's Political Participation In China Since The Reform And Opening-up

Women's political participation is not only an important part of realizing women's freedom and all-round development,but also an important part of socialist democratic political construction with Chinese characteristics,and an important yardstick to measure women's status and social development and progress.With the continuous growing of China's economic strength and comprehensive national strength and the continuous improvement of degree of social civilization,people pay more and more attention to this problem.Since the reform and opening up,women's political participation has gone through four stages of development,mainly including the recovery and development from 1978 to 1992,the steady advancement from 1992 to 2002,the active expansion from 2002 to 2012 and in-depth development since 2012.During this period,women's political participation has made historic achievements in the proportion of political participation,legislative practice of political participation,participation in grass-roots democratic management and women's organizations.However,at present,women's political participation in China still faces many problems,such as the imbalance of male and female cadres,the lack of cutting-edge rights of women's political participation,low-autonomy women's political participation.Therefore,through the thinking and analysis of these existing problems and origin,further put forward effective countermeasures to promote women's political participation in China in promoting women's socioeconomic status,strengthening policy and institutional guarantee,improving the social and cultural environment and enhancing women's comprehensive quality and so on,which is of great significance to improve the current political ecological environment,promote the process of political democratization in the new era and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
