In the trend of political research, the theme of equality occupies the main position of research content.Dworkin's theory of equality is based on Rawls' s theory of equality and criticizes previous welfareism. His criticism is mainly based on preference and personal responsibility. He believes that the equality of welfare that requires preference and satisfaction cannot be true.Reach equality. At the same time, the equality achieved under the requirements of welfare equality will lead to the neglect of personal responsibility. The position of personal responsibility in social development is very important. After neglect,it will have a series of consequences, such as causing moral crisis. To this end,Dworkin proposed resource equality, the content is mainly three modes and two principles, the three modes are auction, insurance and taxation.Starting from the desert island auction,we strive to achieve equality, but there are cases where someone may have a natural disadvantage. Therefore,an insurance system is proposed.Individuals spend some of their resources to purchase insurance,so as to avoid disability under the curtain of ignorance. The system is based on the principle of voluntariness and does not ensure fairness. Therefore, taxation is proposed to force everyone to pay for the disadvantages that may arise. The two principles are the principle of personal responsibility and the principle of equal importance. They aim to emphasize that everyone has independent values.Even if there may be a natural disadvantage, they should be responsible for their own choices, which is what Dworkin has always emphasized.Aspirations, bluntly endowed." Dworkin's theory of equality is an important milestone in the development of egalitarianism. After analyzing the perspective of the baseline public opinion,it is still unreasonable.Baseline paradox analysis Dworkin's egalitarianism is a unique perspective to study its theory, introducing the concept of baseline, extending from the “highest baseline” to the“intermediate baseline” and “minimum baseline”,resulting in Dworkin's theory of equality. There are contradictions, whether the position of "invalid person" will not change because of choice or the resource allocation of "invalid people" needs effective people to sacrifice personal interests, which is a paradox in resource equality, andDworkin The position of each person that has been emphasized will only contradict the principle of personal choice, that is,the principle of personal responsibility, and also violates the principle of fairness in the equal distribution of resources.
