Research On The Health Difference,Class Mobility And Income Distribution Gap Tolerance

This paper is an important part of the National Social Science Fund Project“Kuznets Curve Improvement,Fair Multidimensional Expansion and Resident Income Distribution Tolerance Study”(16BJL040).In the context of the "Healthy China" strategy,various "Second Generation" phenomena are emerging and the income distribution gap continues to be too large.What is the difference in health in Chinese society? How is the class flow? What is the tolerance of income distribution gap? It is an urgent question to answer.Through research on the tolerance of health differences,class mobility and income distribution gaps,not only can we theoretically construct the logical relationship and mechanism between the three,but also obtain objective causality from empirical research.Thereby expanding the policy choice space for economic and social development.Therefore,this paper attempts to construct a relevant theoretical framework and answer this era of questions based on CGSS2015 data.Firstly,it introduces the relevant background of health differences,class mobility and income distribution in China's current economic and social development,and defines the main research concepts in this paper.Then the relevant research literatures related to health differences,class mobility,income distribution and income distribution gap tolerance were reviewed and reviewed.Furthermore,the relevant theories applied in this paper are explained,which lays a foundation for the corresponding theoretical construction and model selection of the research topic.Then,the status quo of health differences among Chinese residents,the status quo of class mobility and the tolerance of income distribution gap are analyzed statistically,and the relevant status quo is judged empirically.Finally,using the MLE method-based Ordered Logit model and Ordered Probit model and multi-layer mixed-effects regression model and other econometric methods to empirically test the factors affecting health differences,class mobility and income distribution gap tolerance,and the relevant regression results The robustness was tested.The study found:(1)There is a significant influence relationship between health differences and class mobility.The higher the level of health,the stronger the class mobility.The positive flow of the class will bring about an improvement in health.Health differences and class mobility are significant factors influencing the incomedistribution gap.The higher the level of health and the upward mobility of the class can increase the tolerance of income distribution gaps.The opposite is true;(2)Whether it is from subjective health assessment or objective BMI index,there are indeed systematic health differences between urban and rural areas and between groups in Chinese society;(3)From the perspective of the class flow in the past(2005-2015),the social mobility of Chinese society is not high,the class flow is mainly short-distance,and the long-distance class flow is difficult to occur.That is,the phenomenon of hierarchical solidification.From the expected class flow situation,people are still full of hope for the future(2015-2025)class flow,although the current social class structure presents a "pyramid" type,and there may be a "Matthew effect" of class mobility.However,the bottom layer continues to decrease,the size of the middle class is expanding,and the top level is increasing moderately.It can be expected that the social class is transitioning to the “olive type”,and whether this transition of social class structure can be achieved depends on whether it can enhance the mobility of class and other economic and social development factors;(4)Whether from the perspective of efficiency or from the perspective of freedom and fairness,the persistently large income distribution gap will undoubtedly exceed people's tolerance,and income distribution has a significant impact on people's health level and class mobility.The tolerance of income distribution gaps among Chinese residents has diverged.More than 30% of respondents believe that the current income distribution gap exceeds their tolerance.We should pay more attention to the phenomenon.
