Patent analysis can reveal the hidden information behind the patent data.Through data mining and analysis,strategic information such as technology evolution path,patent layout situation and patent warning can be obtained.FBAR,a film bulk acoustic resonator,will be widely used in communication devices of the 5G era because of its high performance and in line with the ultra-high requirements of 5G technology for frequency bands and high integration.The patent layout and competition of FBAR technology is an important intellectual property issue in the 5G era.Starting from the patent of FBAR technology,the patent information is used to interpret the competitive situation in this technical field,and provide reference for patent layout and competition strategy for competitors in China's FBAR technology field.In the Patentics patent search system,a patent search data sample of FBAR technology was constructed.The analysis shows that the development of FBAR technology originated in the late 1980 s,and experienced the germination period(1980-2000)and the growth period(2000-In the three phases of 2005 and maturity(after 2005),with the iteration of communication technology,the R&D activities of FBAR technology will continue in the future,and technological improvement as the main research and development direction to adapt to the needs of continuously updated communication products..The main sources of FBAR technology are the United States,Japan and South Korea.The main markets are located in the United States,China and Japan.According to the scale and technical strength of the global FBAR patent rights,they can be broadly divided into four categories: leading innovation entities,represented by Broadcom,with large market scale and strong technical product market competitiveness;high-yield innovation main body to Samsung For the representative,its market size and patent application scale is large,but the patent quality is not dominant;the high quality innovation subject is represented by Nokia,which grasps the core technology and the patent quality is high;the general innovation subject,most of the rights subject,There is no advantage in the quantity and quality of patents.China began to apply for FBAR patents in 2005,and currently there are 415 FBAR patents.In the early days,China's FBAR technology research and development has a significant lag compared with the global trend,and relying on market reaction,the market entities are still a large number of foreign rights entities,and the products are mainly imported.Since 2008,China has made major breakthroughs in independent research and development in the field of communications,and the development of FBAR technology has gradually kept up with global development trends.The main innovations of China's FBAR technology are universities and research institutes,represented by Zhejiang University and Tianjin University.The overall industry is small in scale and has a low market share.There are three main problems in the patent layout of China's FBAR field: lack of core technology,FBAR patents may have infringement risks;FBAR patents have a narrow global scope;industry-university-research cooperation is not high,and core industry clusters are lacking.It is suggested that the FBAR technology industry layout should adopt the following countermeasures: improve the relevant mechanism of “innovation-driven development” from the national policy level;try to build a collaborative innovation FBAR industrial ecosystem;integrate R&D resources within the enterprise and research institutions,expand the scale of patent applications;encourage enterprises Actively carry out patent transactions and mergers and acquisitions.
