Study On American Technical Barriers To Trade And China’s Response

With the increase in China’s opening up and the strengthening of economic power,trade between China and the United States is getting closer and closer,and trade frictions are also increasing.In order to protect the share of its domestic products in the international market,the United States has adopted various protective measures,frequently placing a wide variety of technical trade barriers on China’s products,hindering the circulation of Chinese products,and causing huge economic losses to China’s foreign trade enterprises..The US trade protection measures are not only at this time,but are constantly updated and expanded in the process of competing with other countries in the international market,and the United States will become more and more skilled in the use of trade protection measures,so that the more difficult it is to deal with The bigger it is.How to evade and eliminate the US technical trade barriers in the process of foreign trade is a problem that China must face at this stage.This article will use this as a starting point to comparatively study the technical barriers between China and the United States,study WTO-related agreements,and analyze the defects of China’s trade barriers and the need for improvement.This paper is divided into five parts.First,the first part explains the problem of the US technical trade barriers faced by China and the problems that this paper wants to solve.Secondly,the second part mainly focuses on the concept,performance and characteristics of technical trade barriers,and expounds the current situation of the control and control of technical trade barriers by WTO-related agreements.Next,the third part of the system elaborates the US technical trade barrier system and analyzes the overall framework and characteristics of the US technical trade barriers.The fourth part mainly discusses the positive and negative effects of US technical trade barriers on China’s trade.Thirdly,on the basis of the first four parts,the fifth part puts forward some suggestions for China to deal with the US technical trade barriers.China should respond positively to the US technical trade barriers and actively confront rather than compromise.The author suggests using the WTO rules and Thedispute settlement mechanism and the improvement of China’s own legal system are two important ways.Finally,in the conclusion part of the paper,the author believes that one of the issues that China must pay attention to and pay attention to in the process of foreign trade is how to deal with the US technical trade barriers.The process of coping is also the process of re-establishing Sino-US relations.Balanced,equal and fair Sino-US relations will give the two countries a virtuous cycle in their future international relations.
