Research On The Environmental And Social Mechanism Of The AIIB

The AIIB is China's new contribution to the global economic governance system.The launch of the AIIB project will effectively strengthen the infrastructure construction of the Asia-Pacific region,and will help promoting the positive development of the global economic system with a fair,reasonable and efficient manner.Environmental and social mechanisms are the core mechanisms for MDBs to ensure the effectiveness of project implementation.At present,the environment and social mechanisms of MDBs are different,and the overall evolution is systematic and assimilated.However,the research on this issue in the academic community still needs to be deepened.Therefore,the systematic study of the environmental and social mechanisms of the AIIB from the perspective of international law is conducive to promoting the accuracy of the internal mechanism of the AIIB,the logic of rigor,the systematization of the system,the innovation and construction to achieve its grand original intention,and thus enhance its value of change in the world.This paper first studies the connotation of the environmental and social mechanisms of the AIIB and its relationship with international law by summarizing the characteristics of the environment and social mechanisms of typical MDBs.Secondly,starting from the construction process of the AIIB's environmental and social mechanisms,the innovative features of its related mechanisms are discussed.From the perspective of procedures and entities,the paper systematically analyzes the possible shortcomings of the AIIB's environmental and social mechanisms.Finally,it puts forward suggestions on the improvement of the environmental and social mechanism of the AIIB.It is expected that it can improve the environmental and social mechanisms under the premise of maintaining its own innovative characteristics,ensure the healthy implementation of the project,and promote the realization of the global positive effects of the AIIB.
