As a social feature of India, the caste system has had a profound impact on all aspects of India.Under the caste system, some people were discriminated and oppressed by the ordinary people of India for a long time, that is,the "backward class" defined by the Indian government. The scheduled castes and scheduled tribes occupies the vast majority.Such injustices make the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes at the bottom of society, and it is difficult to turn over.If a country wants to develop,it will never be able to leave any kind of people in the country. In order to promote the further development of the country and protect the rights of scheduled castes and scheduled tribes, the Indian government will achieve social justice, then India will develop in the process of social development.A series of policies and plans. The reservation policy is one of the most typical. The reservation policy has also been continuously improved with the development of Indian society. In fact, the reservation policy has been implemented as a temporary support policy, and the Indian community has mixed opinions on its implementation.Based on the Marxist theory of social justice and the social justice theory of other famous scholars, this paper studies the factual effects of Indian reservation policy from the perspective of social justice, and uses literature and statistical analysis methods to collect information on various domestic and foreign literature websites and data websites. It sorts out the emergence and development process of the caste system, and expounds the different forms and contents of different stages of the reservation policy.Through the data collected on the official websites of various departments in India, this paper analyzes the implementation effects of the retention policy on the three levels of politics, education and employment. The retention policy at the political level guarantees the political rights of the listed groups by maintaining a certain percentage of the list of castes and listed tribes in the central government of India and the legislative bodies at all levels, and setting up special institutions to guarantee the implementation of the retention policy.;cultivated the emerging forces of the listed group;but also caused certain social conflicts. At the educational level, the retention policy enacts the admission of castes and listed tribes in various universities, enacts the Enrolment Retention Act of the Central Educational Institutions, the Law on the Free Rights of Children's Compulsory Education, and various types of groups that support the study.Educational support policies such as the scholarship program have increased the opportunities for listed groups to receive education;narrowed the educational gap between different levels in India;but it has triggered “reverse discrimination” in Indian society. At the employment level, the retention policy allows the listed group to improve the overall quality of the individual by providing job training and retaining positions in the public sector;employment opportunities are increased;however, the development of the Indian education economy is uneven, leading to imbalances in supply and demand in the job market. Finally, this paper analyzes the practical effects of the retention policy and the social disputes caused by it,reflects on the problems of the retention policy, and evaluates the social impact of the retention policy.
