Research On The Historical Development Of The CPC's People-centered Ideology

The people-centered thought is a concentrated expression of the CPC's correct grasp of the ruling law,the socialist development law and the evolution law of human society in its practice of leading the Chinese revolution,construction and reform for more than 90 years.Adhering to the people's concept of purpose in revolution and construction,serving the people wholeheartedly and improving the welfare of the people,and adhering to the people's concept of purpose gradually formed the party's people-centered thought in the process of reform and opening up.First of all,this paper studies the connotation and theoretical origin of the CPC's people-centered thought.Its connotation is explained from the following four parts.People-centered is the fundamental position of adhering to and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics.Its core is adhering to the people's dominant position,and its evaluation criterion is whether the people are satisfied with it,with the aim of realizing common prosperity and all-round development of the people.This paper studies its theoretical origin from three aspects: Marx's materialist conception of history,people-oriented thought in Chinese cultural tradition and modern democratic thought in China.Secondly,it studies the process of the formation of the CPC's people-centered thought.The CPC adheres to the people-centered idea in leading the people in revolution and construction,and gradually forms the people-centered thought in the great cause of reform and opening up.On this basis,the contemporary value of the CPC's people-centered thought is analyzed and studied in the light of the common concerns of the people in contemporary social development.The author expounds the contemporary value of adhering to the people-centered thought from the following four aspects: improving the ability and level of party building to serve the people;Dividing “cake” and paying attention to fairness and justice;Strengthening and innovating cultural development to meet the needs of people's cultural interests;Paying attention to improving and ensuring people's livelihood and enhancing people's sense of access.Resolutely we should win the battle of the blue sky and promote harmony between man and nature.At last,it was concluded that the CPC must adhere to the people-centered thought to demonstrate its contemporary value and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation in order to continuously meet the new expectations of the people.
