At the moment of rapid development of information technology,big data technology has opened up a major era transformation,which has changed the lifestyle of countless users while causing business changes and thinking changes.However,big data technology based on collecting user data also poses a huge threat to users’ data privacy.The endless stream of data privacy incidents at home and abroad has alerted us,and current data privacy protection is facing serious problems.At present,for the protection of data privacy,the academic community mostly analyzes from the macro perspectives of legal protection and industry self-discipline,and lacks the attention of the user from the personal point of view,the whole process of data privacy communication.In this context,from the personal point of view,research data privacy.Self－protection has important meaning.Based on the self-protection of data privacy,this paper discusses the reasons,connotations and methods of data privacy self-protection,and discusses the importance,necessity,protection ideas,foreign experience and specific measures of data privacy self-protection.In the era of big data,data privacy has new features that are indistinguishable,uncontrollable,and unknowable.It is facing serious leaks and huge risk of disclosure.In current legal protection,administrative protection,industry self-discipline and other means of protection.In the case of serious deficiencies,self-protection is the most effective means of protection for each data subject.In view of how to protect the privacy of data privacy,the author puts forward a new idea of"protection in communication",that is,according to the different stages of the data privacy in the process of communication,take targeted protection measures instead of generalization,static and general Self-protection.In addition,through the combing of the self-protection practice of foreign data Privacy,the author summarizes the main ideas of foreign users for data privacy self-protection,including adhering to personal participation,small data privacy protection and striving for "right to be forgotten,.The data privacy self-protection practice is instructive.At present,China’s data privacy self-protection practice is still in its infancy,and users’ data privacy protection concepts are generally lacking.In view of the many difficulties in current data privacy self-protection,the author proposes to first enhance the awareness of data privacy self-protection.Dialectical views on personal data,layered protection,and recommendations for data desensitization.Finally,the future development of data privacy self-protection is sorted out and prospected.It is proposed that the self-protection of data privacy should not only be"mainly based on me" but also "beyond self" and unite with other data subjects to form a data privacy protection community.
