Study On Marx And Engels' Idea Of Family And Its Practical Significance

Tamily is the most basic unit of society.The stability of the family is closely related to social stability.Marx and Engels are based on historical materialism and further deepen the study of family issues on the basis of family ideology.Marx and Engels' family thought is a theoretical transcendence of predecessors' family thoughts,and also provides a scientific theoretical basis for China's current family building.This paper explores the family thought of Marx and Engels from five aspects.First,the theoretical source of Marx and Engels' family thoughts was examined.The ideas of J.J.Johann Jakob Bachofen,John Ferguson McLennan,Lewis Henry Morgan,G.W.F.Hegel and others have provided a rich theoretical nourishment for Marx and Engels.Second,it discusses the historical and logical relationship between "Two-production" and family generation and development."Two-production" is the driving force for family generation and development.With the progress of society,the family form has also experienced the forms of blood family,Pululua family,dual family and polygamous family to adapt to the pace of social development.Third,I sorted out Marx and Engels' thoughts on the social nature,general function and ethical order of the family.Fourth,it analyzes Marx and Engels' critique of the alienation of capitalist society.Marx and Engels criticized the phenomenon of family alienation in capitalist society from the aspects of family labor alienation,alienation of women's status,and alienation of marriage and love,and believed that this family alienation phenomenon would be solved in communist society.Fifth,it explains the enlightenment of Marx and Engels' family thoughts on the construction of excellent Chinese style in contemporary China.Starting from the outstanding problems of the current family in China,and taking Marx and Engels' s family thought as the theoretical support,I pointed out the macroscopic thinking of China's current excellent family style construction.The possible innovations in this paper are as follows.Firstly,based on the "Two-production" of Marx and Engels,this paper deeply analyzes the general functions and types of the family,and presents the historical and logical system of Marx and Engels' family thoughts.Secondly,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the phenomenon of family alienation under the condition of “substance dependent society” and its ways of sublation.Finally,this paper analyzes the main problems of the current Chinese family and its causes,and proposes corresponding solutions.
