With the rapid development of China's economy and society, the income gap between urban and rural areas is gradually increasing. In order to improve the quality of family life and increase the opportunities for individual development, more and more rural labourers leave their hometown to work in cities.Because of the high cost of living in the city or the fact that the problem of household registration can not solve the problem of children attending school, they can only leave their children at home, resulting in a large number of left-behind children in rural areas.According to the latest data on rural left-behind children released by the Ministry of Civil Affairs in 2018,there are now more than 6.97 million left-behind children in rural areas throughout the country.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out in the report of the 19 th CPC National Congress to protect the legitimate rights and interests of children and establish a care service system for children left behind in rural areas, learn at an early age, teach at a later age and point the way for children's healthy growth and priority development. However, the cultivation and promotion of left-behind children's self-protection awareness and self-protection ability is the right meaning in the topic,self-protection ability promotion is the need of healthy growth of children,so the author chose the rural left-behind children's self-care ability to improve this topic.Using the method of group work, the author explores the improvement of self-protection ability of left-behind children in rural areas.Through the investigation of the safety situation and self-protection ability of the left-behind children, the reasons are analyzed and summarized, and a group plan is drawn up according to the needs of the left-behind children. The team was guided by experiential learning theory to help left-behind children integrate their self-protection support networks. The eight-section group activities are mainly divided into four dimensions: life self-care ability, game self-care ability, accident self-care ability and psychological self-care ability. With rich and diverse practice forms,self-care knowledge is embodied and situational.Let the left-behind children truly participate in the activities To realize the self-protection ability enhancement.A comprehensive evaluation method was used to evaluate the activities of the experiential group to verify the effectiveness of the work of the experiential group in promoting the self-protection ability of the left-behind children in rural areas. The results showed that the self-protection ability of left-behind children was improved by experiential group activities. The first is to awaken the self-care consciousness of the team members, the second is the increasing knowledge of self-care and the continuous improvement of self-care skills. Finally, the team members can apply what they have learned in the group to their lives, and they can adapt themselves to emergency situations and be calm and calm. While analyzing and summarizing the effectiveness of the activities of the group, the author also reflects on the shortcomings of the activities, sums up the experience, and puts forward the proposal of construction.Discussion.
