The Intervention Of The Group Work On Improving The Safety Protection Ability Of The Old People Left Behind In Rural Areas

Under the background of aging population and accelerating urbanization in our country,the increasing number of elderly people left behind in rural areas and the many problems caused by staying behind are the inevitable result of rapid economic development and social transformation.In view of the long time left behind by elderly people in rural areas,the sense of safety prevention is indifferent,making them the main target of illegal behavior.In addition,due to the low level of culture and cognitive ability of the left-behind elderly groups in rural areas,there are major risks in terms of fire prevention,emergency treatment,safe use of electricity,and transportation.Therefore,it is very important to carry out safety education for the elderly who stay behind by raising their safety awareness and improving their safety protection ability.This paper takes the elderly people left behind in rural areas as the object of study and takes the weak sense of security prevention as the starting point.Through the activities of the group,they help them establish a correct sense of security prevention and teach the elderly to master the basic knowledge and methods of self-help.Promote the sharing of experiences in security protection among the elderly and enhance the social network support among the elderly.This paper is guided by the theory of social learning and Maslow's theory of the hierarchy of needs,and based on the need to improve the safety protection of the elderly.By carrying out rich activities such as safety knowledge,emergency handling,disaster prevention and reduction,traffic safety,village safety,and fraud prevention knowledge,the safety and protection capabilities of elderly people who stay behind can be effectively improved according to their safety needs.After the group's work was involved,the author found that the group's work was of great help to the rural elderly who stayed behind to improve their safety protection ability.The elderly who stayed behind enhanced their safety awareness.It is very beneficial for the integration and healthy development of the social support network for the safety protection of the elderly left behind in rural areas.The results show that the group work is very effective in intervening in the improvement of the safety protection ability of the elderly left behind in rural areas.
