An Empirical Analysis Of Kunshan People's Mediation

People's mediation is a legal system with Chinese characteristics that has been developed on the basis of inheriting and developing the fine tradition of folk mediation in China.It is an important part of the Democratic autonomy at the grassroots level as stipulated in the Constitution of China and an important part of the public legal service system.It plays a fundamental role in the multivariate settlement mechanism of contradictions and disputes.It has the characteristics of taking root at the grassroots level,widely distributed,convenient and fast,and does not hurt feelings.To do a good job of people's mediation in the new situation is an urgent and inevitable requirement for advancing the construction of a safe China,advancing the modernization of the social governance system and governance capacity,and improving the mechanism of multivariate settlement of contradictions and disputes.The Kunshan people in Jiangsu Province have a developed economy and a large floating population.Many social conflicts have been mediated by the people and most of them have been eliminated in the embryonic state.The mediation work in the city is among the forefront in the province and even in the country.It has many empirical practices worth studying and promoting.This research report has been selected to form the basic practices and special experience of the Kunshan people's mediation,and to improve the public awareness of the people's mediation agreement.
