Patriotism is the eternal theme of human society.Patriotism is the most sincere emotion in one’s heart.The strength of one’s patriotic heart and the ambition to serve the country determines the level of one’s social value and the size of one’s contribution to the country.To carry forward the spirit of patriotism is the spiritual support for realizing the Chinese dream of great national rejuvenation.Since the 18 th national congress of the communist party of China,general secretary Xi Jinping has attached great importance to patriotism and talked about it in many speeches.In the collective learning of the political bureau of the CPC central 29 times in his speech,Xi Jinping,general secretary of patriotism in the project,this paper based on the speech,combined with Xi Jinping,general secretary of other speech and their own experiences,by a large number of materials and finishing,using literature analysis,studied the Xi Jinping’s patriotism important discourse.This paper first introduces the research background of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on patriotism,analyzes the current research situation,and introduces the research significance,research methods,innovation points and the definition of related concepts to pave the way for the writing of the following part.The text is divided into four parts,from the important discussion of Xi Jinping patriotism main sources,basic contents,distinctive characteristics and significance of the times of these four aspects to carry out research.The main sources of Xi Jinping’s important expositions on patriotism include theoretical sources and realistic bases.The theoretical source is the essence of patriotism from the theoretical system of Marx,Engels,Lenin,Mao Zedong,Deng Xiaoping,Jiang Zemin,Hu Jintao and Chinese excellent traditional culture.The realistic basis includes the edification of general secretary Xi Jinping’s revolutionary family,his political experience and the influence of the social environment at home and abroad.Xi Jinping’s important discusses the basic content of patriotism is based ongeneral secretary Xi Jinping spoke about patriotism,Xi Jinping patriotism important paper summed up the contents of the Chinese dream is a distinct theme of contemporary patriotism,the total content and the love of the broken pieces back together,love of Chinese excellent traditional culture,love the people,love of country four aspects content.The distinctive features of the important discourse of Xi Jinping’s patriotism are summarized as the unity of theory and practice,inheritance and innovation,patriotism and internationalism through the analysis and synthesis of the important discourse content of Xi Jinping’s patriotism.The significance of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on patriotism is expounded from two aspects of theoretical and practical significance.The theoretical significance includes opening up a new realm of marxism and marxism’s Chinese patriotism thought and giving patriotism education a new era connotation.Practical significance includes the grand goal of realizing the "Chinese dream";To ensure the country’s long-term peace and stability;It is conducive to carrying forward the fine traditional Chinese culture and to the peace and development of China and the world at large.
