As Banks and other financial institutions,S city pawnbroking provides new financing channels for small and medium-sized enterprises and individuals,especially since the new century,the rapid development of the pawnbroking.But in recent years,the city S pawn industry presents the size decrease overall transaction amount less fee levels continued to decline.Profit total working capital turnover has slowed significantly reduce the industry characteristics of declining investment enthusiasm,also found some problems at the same time,such as the pawn disputes increasing,Lagging legislation and problems such as imperfect legal system of regulation,fundamentally hindered the healthy development of pawnbroking S city in this case,it is particularly important to strengthen S city pawn industry regulation,especially the city S main departments should to tougher regulation of pawn industry,to undertake the corresponding well regulatory functions,enhance the service consciousness,and guide the pawnshop careful management refinement management,constantly enhance the level of S city pawnbroking supervision.Based on the author's working practice,on the basis of combining literature research,by individual interviews and questionnaire survey,research the present situation and problems of government regulation to S city pawn industry through interview of pawn industry regulators,sums up the problems including supervision of subject three dimensions such as regulation effectiveness regulation ability,and on this basis,the design of questionnaire,selecting S city pawn industry professionals,analyze the problems and causes of supervision.SPSS 18.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data of the survey results,and it was pointed out that the government regulation of the pawnbroking industry in S city had some problems,such as "lack of regulatory synergy","low regulatory efficiency" and "insufficient regulatory capacity building".Aiming at the causes of unclear responsibilities of regulatory bodies,unsound regulatory system and weak talent team of regulatory agencies,this paper puts forward countermeasures and Suggestions for improving the supervision of pawnbroking industry in S city from the aspects of clarifying the responsibilities of the regulatory bodies,improving the regulatory system and strengthening the construction of supervisory personnel.
