A Logic Study On The Regional Differences Of Chinese Government's Trust And Its Formation

The existing research on the influencing factors of government trust in a country is carried out from the two aspects: environmental factors and individual factors.The discussion of environmental factors is more focused on the influence of two factors: economy and family.Individual factors is more focused on the influence of the academic qualifications,income,social class etc..On the basis of literature research,under the framework of “emotional-rational” used to analyze the individual differences of the government trust,this paper selects a certain region with cultural connotation as the reference system for government trust research,and tries to establish a dialogue mechanism during region as the environmental factor and values,morality,emotion,experience,strategy as the individual factor.In the meantime,This paper explores how the cultural factors in different regions affect the individual 's values and moral tendencies,even the government' s trust by the means of questionnaires and data statistics.The study shows that: First,there are some significant differences of government trust in the different cultural regions indeed,but these differences show more specific characteristics in terms of specific trust objects and trust content.Second,the individual and emotional factors of values and morality have a significant impact on government trust.More inclined to authoritarian values,collectivist values and traditional values the individual is,more convinced to the government he is.More inclined to moral trust the individual is,more convinced to the government he is.Third,the emotion,experience and strategy as three kinds of possible disturbance variables have a significant influence on the government trust after tested.However,there is no significant geographical differences during these three factors so that they can be excluded from the interference of intermediate variables.Fourth,the comprehensive research shows that the convergence characteristics of individual values and morality are formed in the different cultural regions.Furthermore,these features affect the individual's trust in the government.
