Family is the first class of life,and it plays an irreplaceable role in the development of teenagers’ world outlook,outlook on life and sense of worth.With the development of multiculture and multiple values,great changes have taken place in the concepts,value orientation,and life style and so on,which make the moral education of young people’s family face new challenges.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to comprehensively analyze the problems related to moral education in family in China under the new situation and it has realistic meaning.On the basis of clarifying the concept of multiculturalism and family moral education,this paper reveals the characteristics of “the combination of teaching and raising,education at anytime and anywhere;early influence,long-term teaching;individual education,flexible teaching;integration into life and subtle influence”.It summarizes the functions of family moral education in value orientation,psychological guarantee,personality formation and behavior norms.It retrospects the theoretical source of family moral education for young people,that is,Confucian family moral education thought,Dewey pragmatism education Theory,Marxism on the comprehensive development of human theory.On the basis of the relevant overview,this paper analyzes the opportunities and challenges of multicultural education for young people’s family moral education.On the one hand,multiculturalism brings opportunities to the reform of the content of juvenile family moral education,the innovation of method and the development of adolescent personality.On the other hand,it brings challenges to the environment,traditional idea,content and function of juvenile family moral education.Under the influence of multiculturalism,the moral education of adolescents in China has made certain achievements,but also makes the adolescent family moral education face "moral standards are diverse,the choice of value is confused;ambiguous ideals and beliefs,distorting value orientation;moral feelings of indifference,moral behavior anomie;intergenerational conflict is serious,parent-child relationship tension" and other aspects of the plight.There are many reasons for the dilemma of adolescent family moral education under the influence of multiculturalism,which include social environment factors,parent factors,adolescents’ own factors and school,social factors.According to the analysis of the plight the causes of the plight of the youth in the multicultural background,it points out that we should optimize the family environment and create the atmosphere of family moraleducation and pay attention to the innovation of moral education methods to improve the effectiveness of family moral education.We should integrate the resources of moral education and build up the feasible measures of the family moral education,so as to promote the sustainable development of the family moral education.
