In 2017,the General Secretary Xi Jinping put forward a significant historical task of implementing the rural revitalization strategy at the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.It is a great challenge for the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China,more than 60 percent of whose population still lives in rural areas.Guma Town,which is of great poverty,is located in the Hotan Prefecture of southern Xinjiang,and it is located in the multi-ethnic-populated sensitive are of southern Xinjiang.In addition to the tough difficulty of rural revitalization,it is also of great importance to maintain the stability and long-term peace and order of rural society.Therefore,effectively disseminating the party and state policy information is conducive to promoting the development and stability of Uighur villages including Guma Town.Based on the embedding theory,innovation diffusion theory and uses & gratifications theory,the current situation of policy information dissemination in Guma town is explored through field investigation,and in-depth interview,assisted by social network analysis and questionnaire survey.The research is mainly divided into four parts: For the first part,to sort out the relevant literature so as to determine research objects,methods and problems,and investigate the relevant background.For the second part,to adopt the method of questionnaire survey to understand the demography background of the villagers in Guma Town,and the demand,contact and satisfaction of the villagers for policy information.The findings of the research are: the education level of the villagers is generally low,with low mastery degree of the national common language;In terms of demand,the villagers have the highest demand for information about farming and animal husbandry,preferring the dissemination mode of villagers' assembly;In terms of contact,the villagers mainly obtain,judge,adopt and re-disseminate information through rural social relations and ethnic relations;The villagers are satisfied with the information content and method that are currently acquired.For the third part,through the field investigation,and in-depth interview,Guma Town's policy information dissemination of the interpersonal communication network,organizational communication network,mass communication network and new media communication network is analyzed.It is found through the research,that,villagers of Guma Town are more likely to use the interpersonal communication network to obtain policy information;the organizational communication network plays an increasingly prominent role after the residence of the “Visiting,Benefiting,and Uniting” working team;the new media communication network is of relatively low use frequency in Guma Town.For the fourth part,to summarize the problems of Guma Town villages in policy information dissemination,use its experiences and shortcomings to discuss the path of the policy information dissemination in the village of China's Uygur nationality from the perspective of the combination of multiple communication networks and the joint action of multiple media,and to summarize the whole research and discuss its deficiency in the research process.It is hoped that the study on the current situation of policy information dissemination in Guma Town can provide some references for the policy information dissemination in other Uygur rural areas in China.
