The report of the 19 th national congress of the communist party of China(CPC)pointed out: "China’s economy has turned from a stage of high-speed growth to a stage of high-quality development,and is now in a critical period of transforming the development mode,optimizing the economic structure,and transforming the growth momentum.Promoting high-quality development is a scientific decision made in accordance with the law of economic development.Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the party and the state have actively explored the path of socialist development from the standpoint of doing everything for the people,relying on the people and wholeheartedly serving their interests.Since the 18 th national congress of the communist party of China(CPC),xi jinping has put forward a series of new ideas,new ideas and new strategies for building socialism with Chinese characteristics.High-quality development is the inevitable result of actively exploring the development path and conforming to the economic law.It is the inevitable requirement to adapt to the change of the main contradiction in our society and solve the problem of unbalanced and inadequate development.It is the inevitable choice to meet the opportunities and challenges and overcome the development dilemma.Guided by the new concept of development,promoting high-quality development will be the new direction and goal of China’s development at present and in the future.High-quality development means higher quality,more efficient,more equitable and more sustainable development,which is characterized by systematicness,sustainability,innovation and universality.Promoting high-quality development is conducive to the formation of a forcing mechanism,promoting industrial transformation and upgrading,and accelerating the process of socialist modernization.It is conducive to improving the overall competitiveness of China,preventing and resolving risks,and overcoming the middle-income trap.It is conducive to realizing people’s yearning for and need for a better life,continuously ensuring and improving people’s livelihood,and increasing people’s sense of happiness and security.At present,there are still some problems in China,such as the imperfect system and mechanism,the unscientific development mode,the insufficient power of development,and the inadequate prevention and resolution of risks,which seriously restrict the high-quality development.To achieve high-quality development,we must adhere to the principles of the party’s centralized and unified leadership,people-centered development thinking,quality first and efficiency first,and implement the new development concept,improve institutions and mechanisms,transform the development model,enhance development momentum,and prevent and defuse risks.
