A Study Of Engels' Early Economic Thought

Engels,as one of the founders of Marxist political economy,has undoubtedly made great contributions to the formation and development of Marxist economics.Engels,of course,has become not only a "very important person" in Marxist economics,but also a "great explorer" in the study of Marxist economic theory.It is for this reason that we should pay more attention to the study of Engels' s economic thought.For this point,it has been recognized by the majority of Marxist researchers and the world.However,due to many reasons,especially Engels' s modest spirit,Engels' contribution to Marxist economics has not been given enough attention and research in academic circles.Therefore,on the basis of Engels' early economic works,this paper combines with the background of the times to analyze the formation process of Engels' early economic thought,analyze its theoretical results,and draw inspiration for the development of socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics.This topic takes Engels' s early economic thought as the research object.Because only by comprehensively grasping Engels' s early economic thoughts can we fully understand Engels' s personal economic thoughts and the development of Marxist political economy as a whole.Four parts:The first chapter mainly discusses the formation background of Engels' s early economic thought.Firstly,it studies the background of the formation of Engels' s early economic thoughts from three aspects: the development of capitalism and the rise of the first industrial revolution,the progress of science and technology,and the three major worker movements;secondly,it analyses the theoretical sources of Engels' economic thoughts,and finally,Engels' s early classics.The formation process of Ji's thought is discussed from his childhood to Bremen,Berlin and Manchester.Chapter two mainly takes the texts of Criticism Outline of National Economics,Situation of the British Working Class,Letter from Wupei Valley and Progress of Social Reform Movement on the Mainland as the research objects,and summarizes the main contents of Engels' s early economic thoughts comprehensively and objectively: criticism of capitalist political economy;investigation of the living conditions of British workers;and investigation of the mainland.A review of the progress of the social reform movement.At the same time,it discusses the characteristics of Engels' early economic thoughts: criticizing capitalism from the perspective of economic and social development,analyzing economic problems from the perspective of historical materialism,studying economic problems from the perspective of the proletariat,and taking Britain as the research object.Chapter three is Engels' theoretical contribution to his early economic thought.First of all,Engels' contribution to Marxist political and economic theory;secondly,his contribution to the concept of economic history.Chapter four is the Contemporary Enlightenment of Engels' early economic thought,which mainly focuses on two parts.On the one hand,it is an enlightenment for us to correctly understand contemporary capitalism,on the other hand,it is an enlightenment for the development of socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics.This paper combs Engels' early economic thoughts comprehensively and objectively,and grasps Engels' early economic thoughts and the whole Marxist political economy system more accurately.In order to set up the correct idea,look at the new changes of capitalism today,and use the correct theory to guide the socialist economic construction with Chinese characteristics.
