Case Of Interventional Study On Social Work Of Women With Postpartum Depression

In recent years,the society has developed rapidly.With the opening of the second-child policy,post-natal women's health has become a hot spot of general concern in society.After production,women are prone to postpartum depression due to changes in neurosecretion and changes in psychosocial factors.Postpartum depression is actually a psychological disorder.It is also common in post-production mental syndromes.It is characterized by sadness,crying,anxiety,and even serious self-injury,suicide,and the tendency and behavior of killing babies.Postpartum depression has become a vital problem that affects physical and mental health for women.First,for the psychological aspect.Maternity may inexplicably weep and feel sad.And they are very prone to get irritated,extremely afraid of losing something,etc.Even they will feel that life has no any meaningless.Disappointment and helplessness puerperas will occur.In terms of such diseases,family members should give sufficient care and 24-hour monitoring.Second,for physical function aspect.The memory of women suffering from postpartum depression is obviously impaired.Their appetite is poor and their weight will drop seriously.And they often feel weak and lack confidence.Third,for family relations aspect.Postpartum depression causes the generation and deterioration of family conflicts.The tension of the relationship between husband and wife and the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law has planted malignant seeds for the breakdown of marriage.How to help women prevent and relieve postpartum depression has become one of the topics that are concerned by most people in society.At present,the research of social work on postpartum depression of women is relatively limited.For postpartum depression care of women,community work is limited to two follow-up visits in the first week and the third week after the maternity delivery.The content is simply to ask about the physical condition of the parturient and the baby,which is far from enough to actually help women who are suffering from postpartum depression.A number of them are troubled by insufficient postpartum breast milk secretion,serious sleep shortage,problems of mother-in-law and daughter-in-law,changes of their own figure,different attitudes of husbands before and after childbirth and insufficient care.They need professional help from social workers very much.This paper is mainly to summarize and analyze the current academic research onpostpartum depression.From the perspective of social work,this paper analyzes the necessity and feasibility of social work intervention in postpartum depression case studies.Ms.Ning,who was suffering from postpartum depression in Changchun City,was listed as a case.Under the theory of social work,the case intervention method,technology,and process are used to implement case intervention services.Through the analysis of the client's needs assessment,find the problems that need to be resolved,and develop a service plan.In the process of implementing the service,the social worker carried out six intervention services.Start with the mental health and family relations of the client.Specific interventions were held against the client,the husband of the case and the mother-in-law.Help the client to change his mentality,regulate depression,resolve conflicts,and ease relationships with his family.It enables them to face life positively and play the role of mother,wife and daughter,so as to achieve the purpose of relieving and treating postpartum depression.This research has improved the methods and models of social work for women's postpartum depression,and has profound significance for the further development of China's social work profession.
