| The family is the main place for disabled children to live in and plays a basic and core role in the process of rehabilitation and development for disabled children.Some studies have found that the families of disabled children are facing more care burden,economic pressure and mental pressure,the overall happiness level of the families is low,and even the families face the consequences of breakdown.In addition,other studies have found that families of disabled children become more cohesive and have a more harmonious family atmosphere.Among them,when families are under pressure events,members inside and outside provide different degrees and types of support and care to help families to cope with them and recover family functions to some extent,eventually the families form different life states.Based on this,it has become the focus of this study to explore the current situation of family care and family adjustment and adaptability for disabled children.In this study,the Questionnaire on Family Care for Disabled Children was compiled by the methods of interview and literature analysis,and combining Parenting Stress Index Short Form,Family Resilience Rating Scale,Family Crisis Oriented Personal Evaluation Scale and Family Quality of Life Scale to investigated the current situation of family care and family adjustment and adaptability in 230 disabled children families and analyzed the differences demographic variables in family care and family adjustment and adaptability.On the basis of Family Systems Theory,Family Resilience Theory and the Theory of Ecological System,this study combined the family care with family adaptation and adjustment to form a family care mechanism for disabled children.The paper further analyzed the acting path of family care mechanism,and explored the influence path of family coping,parenting stress and family resilience to family quality of life.The results of this study showed that(1)The family care of disabled children was at a general level,which the internal family care was significantly higher than the external,and there were significant differences in participation in social activities.(2)The family coping level of disabled children was in the general level,and there were significant differences in family annual income level and participation in public welfare activities.(3)The family resilience level of disabled children was in the lower middle level,and there were significant differences in disability types,family location,maternal occupations and family annual income.(4)And the family quality of life of disabled children is between general and satisfactory,and there are significant differences in disability types,the degree of disorder of disabled children,children receiving drug treatment,family location and family annual income.(5)The reliability and validity of the family care measurement model and the family care mechanism measurement model were fit.(6)The fitting index of paths in family care mechanism for disabled children were good,and there were 7 significant paths.The results showed that parenting stress negatively predicted family coping and family quality of life,family care positively predicted family coping and family quality of life,family coping positively predicts family resilience,both family resilience and family coping were positive predicted family quality of life.(7)Family coping resilience plays a chain mediating role between parental stress and family life quality,and family coping also plays a mediating role between parental stress and family life quality.(8)Family coping played a chain mediating role between family care and family life quality,and family resilience played a mediating role between family care and family life quality,and family coping played a mediating role between family care and family life quality.Through the investigation and research on the current situation of family care for disabled children,the basic living situation of families with disabled children in China is understood.It showed that external family members need to further improve their care for the families of disabled children,and the families also need to deal with family pressure more actively and effectively,and obtain resources from various aspects to improve the quality of family life.By analyzing the acting path of the family care mechanism for disabled children,this paper clarified the action path of the family care mechanism for disabled children in China,and finds the mediating role of family adjustment and adaptability,which provides certain theoretical guidance for the families of disabled children in China to improve the quality of life. |
