As a part of the grass-roots government in our country,township government's staff are not only the most direct implementers of the various national guidelines and policies,but also the most important implementers.They are in the front line of reform,development and stability,shouldering the important responsibilities of promoting the development of economic culture,science and technology,and advancing the quality of social harmony and serving the people.The strength of the sense of social responsibility of township staff will be directly related not only to the efficiency of the implementation of township government work,but also to the ovagell image of the national staff in the hearts of the broad masses of people.It will have a direct impact on socialist modernization.We regard the formation of the social responsibility of the township staff as a complex process in which multiple subjects participate and many factors intagect.We think that the sense of social responsibility of township workers mainly involves three aspects: socialresponsibility cognition,emotional identification and willingness action.From the point of view of the need of the township staff in the new age and the contact between the township staff and the real society,the social responsibility of township staff in the new age can be divided into five categories: political responsibility,post(collective)responsibility,family responsibility,self(individual)responsibility and network responsibility.The social environment of township staff in the new age changes with the times,the value of the sense of social responsibility will also take place a lot of changes.In the new age,the awareness and training objectives of the sense of social responsibility of township workers are not only closely related to the realization of personal life value,inextricably linked to the harmonious development of society.Therefore,it is impagetive to do a research on the sense of social responsibility of township workers in the new age.This paper will take the sense of social responsibility of township staff in the new age as the research object.Firstly,it clarifies the basic theory of social responsibility,further analyses the importance of classification and cultivation of social responsibility oftownship staff,and makes a theoretical overview of the working characteristics of township staff.Secondly,taking Y County as an example,this paper conducts a questionnaire survey and interview on the social responsibility awareness,emotional identification and willingness action of more than 1000 Township workers.Through the analysis of questionnaires and visiting records,this paper expounds the status quo of the sense of social responsibility of township workers in the new age,and points out the weakness of the sense of social responsibility of some grass-roots workers at present.Thirdly,this paper summarizes the reasons for the insufficiency of the sense of social responsibility of township workers in the new age,mainly including the new changes of personal values and ideas,inadequate functioning of Ideological and political education in grass-roots units and the adverse social environment.Finally,in view of the prominent problems,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to cultivate the sense of social responsibility of township staff in the new age,and puts forward some positive and feasible solutions from the following aspects: adhering to the positive guidance of socialist core values;giving full play to the main position role of township grass-roots unit education;and creating a positive,healthy,harmonious and beautiful social environment.
