Research On The Peasants' Social Responsibility Of China

At present,China is in a critical period during the transition from traditional society to modern society.The construction of modern society,needs citizens to have a high sense of responsibility as the social basis.Peasants as an important part of citizens,can play the main role and earnestly fulfill their social responsibilities or not,which will have an important impact on the overall process of China's modernization.Therefore,it is very important and necessary to strengthen the research on the problem of peasants' social responsibility.This paper makes a systematic and deep research on the problem of peasants' social responsibility in China,explains the connotation,foundations and characteristics,and summarized the general social responsibility that peasants should undertake as the citizen and the main content of the special social responsibility that peasants should undertake as agricultural producers,and the problems of peasants 'social responsibility and its causes are analyzed in detail.On this basis,the main ideas of strengthening peasants' social responsibility are put forward.These studies have a comprehensive understanding of the problem of peasants' social responsibility,and guide peasants to fulfill their social responsibility effectively,so as to promote the harmonious and orderly construction of new socialist countryside,which has important practical significance and practice value.This paper consists of preface and seven chapters,its content structure,logical relationship and basic view are as follows:The preface part mainly introduces the research background and significance of the problem of peasants' social responsibility,reviews the related research at home and abroad,and defines the concept and connotation of responsibility,social responsibility and peasant social responsibility.On this basis,ideas,research methods and major innovations are expounded.The first chapter discusses the theoretical basis of the research on peasants' social responsibility.This paper systematically analyzes and explains the Marxist view of peasants and social responsibility,and makes a brief analysis and summary of the foreign social role theory,social norms theory and social responsibility thought which are closely related to this study.The second chapter demonstrates the reasons of peasants' social responsibility.First,it explores the existence grounds in theory of the social responsibility of peasants in historical materialism,the Marxist view of social responsibility,the ethic of responsibility and the social role theory and the social norm theory.Second,it analyzes the system reasons of the peasants'Social responsibility in law and policy;Thirds,it studies the reasons of social responsibility from the actual level of peasants in the comprehensive construction of a well-off society,the construction of new socialist countryside and the realization of agriculture,peasants in the process of modernization.The third chapter generalizes and summarizes the classification and characteristics of peasants' social responsibility.First,from the perspective of access to the peasants' social responsibility,is divided into inherent social responsibility and self-induced social responsibility.The second is from the perspective of the role of the responsibility,peasants'social responsibility is divided into general social responsibility and specific social responsibility.The third is from the perspective of constraint force of social responsibility,it is divided into mandatory social responsibility and non-mandatory social responsibility.This chapter also summarizes and states the characteristics of farmers' social responsibility from general and special characteristics.The fourth chapter introduces the main contents of peasants' general social responsibility.Peasants' general social responsibility refers to the social responsibility that peasants should undertake as citizens,mainly including the responsibility of abiding by social morals,the constitutional and legal responsibilities,and the fulfillment of relevant political and economic responsibilities.The fifth chapter discusses the main content of peasants' specific social responsibility.Peasants' specific social responsibility refers to the special social responsibility that peasants should undertake as agricultural producers.It mainly includes the responsibility of agricultural production and operation;responsibility of participation in rural public affairs,responsibility of participation in rural cultural development;responsibility of participation in agricultural ecological and environmental protection.The sixth chapter discusses the current situation and the reasons of peasants' social responsibility problems.Through data statistics and analysis of the research questionnaires,the author puts forward that the positive aspect of Chinese peasants 'social responsibility lies in the emergence of peasants' social responsibility consciousness and the extension of peasants' social responsibility to multi dimension.The main problem lies in the lack of strong sense of social responsibility,lack of support for social responsibility and lack of effective guidance.On this basis,further analysis of the causes of peasants' social responsibility mainly lies in the reasons for the peasants' themselves,the low degree of organizational constraints,the impact of policy factors and the reason government not well guide.Chapter 7 puts forward the main ideas of strengthening peasants' social responsibility.According to the problems and causes of peasants 'social responsibility,the main idea of strengthening peasants' social responsibility is to enhance peasants' sense of social responsibility,to expand the peasants' social responsibility carrier,to strengthen the system protection of social responsibility for peasants and to strengthen the leadership of the party and governrnment.There are mainly three creative aspects in this thesis.Firstly,it is reviewed from a new perspective.At present,the academic circles focus on the study of peasants' problems,mostly around the peasants' producing and living conditions,rights and interests,rarely study from the perspective of peasants' social responsibility.So the perspective of this study is creative.Secondly,this paper makes a systematic and deep research on the problem of peasants' social responsibility of China,explains the connotation,foundations and characteristics,and summarized the main social responsibilities that peasants should undertake,and puts forward the main ideas of strengthening peasants' social responsibility.All of these are rarely reflected in academia.Thirdly,there are two main creative viewpoints in this paper.One is looking on peasants' social responsibility as a system,which consists by the general social responsibility that peasants should undertake as the citizen and the main content of the special social responsibility that peasants should undertake as agricultural producers.Another is that peasants' social responsibility are related with rural policies,the degree of peasants'organization and so on.
