The Challenge And Countermeasure Research Of Kunming Municipal Government Statistical Work In The Age Of Big Data

Since 2000,the Internet and the emerging media driven by it have developed strongly.Data has spurted up and big data has begun to receive widespread attention.Nowadays,the era of big data is approaching quietly: large amount of data,diverse sources,rapid dissemination,convenient sharing;data value has received great attention and continuous mining;third-party statistics is developing rapidly,and government statistical departments are no longer monopolists of data.The arrival of the era of big data has a profound impact on government statistics.On the one hand,the authority of government statistics is challenged unprecedentedly.In order to conform to the trend of the times,the ways and methods of collecting and collating data,mining and publishing information by the government will face changes.On the other hand,it will promote a more open,transparent and efficient government.We have to face the challenges and opportunities brought by the era of big data,and it can help to solve the problems of big data in government statistics.It is not only the urgent need and inevitable choice of statistical departments,but also is the trend of Chinese government statistics.In order to deal with the challenges of our government’s statistical work,statistical experts and scholars have conducted many studies on big data and government statistics,but these studies focus on how to do a good job of top-level design of statistics,they are lack of deep discussion on grass-roots statistical work.Municipal statistical bureaus are not only important components of government statistics,but also are national statistical bureaus.As far as the statistics of Kunming Municipal Government is concerned,the truth is that the development of overall research on big data started later than other areas in China.Most of the research on governmental statistics focuses on data quality control and reform of the statistical system.Taking the Kunming Bureau of Statistics as an example,exploring new ideas and new ways can lessen the gaps in the research of municipal statistics,and it can also provide a reference path for municipal government statistical departments to meet the challenges of the big data era..Based on the related research,this paper takes Kunming City Statistics Bureau as an example,and analyzes the new development trend of government statistics under the background of big data.This paper used relevant theories of management,it also combined the practical experience and basic-level statistical work together,and analyzed the problems and causes of statistical work in Kunming.I found that the inadequacy of government statistics of big data is becoming increasingly important.The reform of statistical work in Kunming should be devoted to adjusting the structure,training talents,and mastering technology should adapt to a large number of structures under the background of big data.The reform should apply big data to daily statistical work,it can enable governmental statistics to obtain more comprehensive and accurate data,make more accurate and effective analysis.Dynamic information in various areas of the country provides powerful data support for the government to understand and analyze the national conditions and formulate macroeconomic policies.Finally,the paper also combined the actual work of the Kunming Statistics Bureau and the reform countermeasures of municipal statistical agencies together.
