Research On The Quality Management Of Data Statistics Of Grass Roots Government

Government statistics refers to the behavior of national institutions to conduct statistical investigation on national and regional economic and social development and people’s living standards in accordance with relevant statistical laws and regulations.The government’s statistical work,on the one hand,can understand the current socio-economic operation and predict the development of the industry,on the other hand,can provide a theoretical basis for the government to formulate policies and evaluate the results achieved after the implementation of policies.China’s economic development has entered a new normal,and the major social contradictions have been transformed into the contradictions between the people’s growing needs for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development.The progress of solving the contradictions and how to better adjust policies to help solve the contradictions all need government statistics to provide corresponding data support.In today’s highly developed big data and the Internet,both local governments and people in all walks of life are paying more attention to basic statistics.The importance of high-quality government data statistics is self-evident.The quality of data statistics is the lifeblood of government statistics.The grass-roots front line is the source of basic data.The source data may have an exponential impact on the final results after being summarized and analyzed layer by layer.It is impossible to truly and accurately reflect the current economic operation,provide the basis for the leadership to formulate targeted policies,or even deviate from the actual situation.Since the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),from top to bottom,statistical institutions at all levels have continuously promoted the reform of the statistical system,innovated statistical work methods,strengthened statistical law enforcement,and resolutely cracked down on statistical fraud.The quality of statistical data has been greatly improved,but there are still shortcomings.This thesis starts from the micro level of government statistics,taking the government statistics of H District as the starting point,introduces that there will be multiple game phenomena in the statistical process of grassroots governments,and discusses the problems in the process of data statistics of grassroots governments: there are repeated statistics in the statistical process of grassroots governments,statistical data are vulnerable to external factors,the setting of statistical institutions and staffing needs to be optimized,and the enthusiasm of grassroots statistical personnel is not high The relevant laws and regulations on statistics have not been effectively implemented,the transparency of statistical data is low,and the causes of the above problems are analyzed from the aspects of the government statistical management system,the independence and status of government statistical departments,statistical practitioners,statistical investigation system,and statistical law enforcement.The author puts forward countermeasures and suggestions based on the theory of public management and his own work experience.
