Research On Baudrillard's Critical Thought Of Symbolic Political Economy

In contemporary society,the continuous innovation of science and technology makes the social economy develop rapidly,which also directly affects the consumption area of daily life.Consumption began to occupy an increasingly important position in the process of social communication.At the same time,people's consumption patterns and consumption psychology in the contemporary capitalist society also began to change,and the problems exposed thereby triggered the critical reflection of contemporary thinkers.In such a context,baudrillard pointedly focused his research on the field of consumption and then put forward the theory of symbolic political economy.This paper takes baudrillard's theory of symbolic political economy as the research object.In this paper,the author first explains the social background and theoretical source of baudrillard's symbolic political economy,which lays a foundation for further sorting out his theoretical framework.Next,the logical framework of his theory is analyzed.Baudrillard believes that the development of society has been controlled by different codes,and only symbolic exchange can make people completely liberated.At the end of the paper,based on the reality,the author makes an objective evaluation of the theory of symbolic political economy,which shows that the theory has positive significance,but also has some shortcomings.Baudrillard's theory of symbolic political economy deeply explores the important issues of contemporary capitalism,broadens the research perspective of postmodern thinkers,and provides theoretical reference for solving the real consumption problem,which undoubtedly plays a positive role.However,there are serious shortcomings in this theory.Firstly,baudrillard has some misinterpretation of Marx's political economy theory,which leads to his gradual departure from marxism.Secondly,symbolic political economy theory reduces the solution path to abstract symbolic exchange,which makes it difficult to serve social reality.Finally,this paper makes an objective analysis of baudrillard's symbolic political economy theory,so as to makeclear that in the contemporary society,Marx's theory is by no means outdated as baudrillard said,it still has a strong vitality.
