Study On Baudrillard’s Thought Of Consumption Alienation

The consumption problem that Baudrillard is concerned about has not only existed in the western society,and consumption alienation has gradually become a common problem that human beings have to face.It is of great theoretical value and practical significance to explore and study Baudrillard’s idea of consumption alienation.This paper will re-examine Baudrillard’s thought of consumption alienation from the perspective of Marxism,grasps and deeply analyze the main content of Baudrillard’s thought of consumption alienation,sets up the dialogue platform between Marx and Baudrillard,responds positively to Baudrillard’s questioning and criticism of Marx,and re-examines China’s consumption status and Chinese consumption behavior with Baudrillard’s reflection on western consumption society,and gives reference to the construction of Chinese characteristic consumption culture and healthy consumption idea.This paper takes Baudrillard’s thought of consumption alienation from the perspective of Marxism as the research theme,mainly from the following three parts.The first part combs the background and theoretical source of Baudrillard’s thought of consumption alienation.Background: Baudrillard is based on the reality of the transformation of contemporary capitalist society,demonstrates the hidden crisis behind the false prosperity of capitalist world;theoretical sources:Roland Barthes’ s semiotics theory,Henri Lefebvre’s critical theory of daily life,Debord’s landscape theory and Marxist political economy and alienation theory have an important impact on the formation of Baudrillard’s thought of consumption alienation.The second part interprets Baudrillard’s thought of consumption alienation with symbol as its core,probes into the realization way of thought logic of consumption alienation,and discriminates Baudrillard’s new interpretation of Marxist political economy.In response to Baudrillard’s attack and censure on the basic concept of Marxist political economy.The third part reviews Baudrillard’s consumption alienation thought from the perspective of Marxism,affirms its theoretical contribution and value of the times,and points out the fatal defects of Baudrillard’s theory.On this basis,it reflects on the consumption reality of contemporary China,and enlightens the construction of consumption culture with Chinese characteristics and healthy consumption concept.Finally,in the criticism and reflection of Baudrillard,we once again deeply interpret the extensive and subtle nature of Marxist theory and understand the eternal light of Marxist theory.
