Historical Investigation On The Commemoration Of Reform And Opening-Up

Commemoration is a common phenomenon in human social and political life.In modern society,commemorative activities have increasingly become a kind of political and cultural activities that preserve historical memories,summarize historical experiences,educate the masses,and look to the future.They have their unique cultural heritage,political orientation,and social integration functions.Reform and opening-up is the most distinctive feature of contemporary China and the most distinctive banner of the Chinese Communist Party.Xi Jinping emphasized: "Reform and opening-up is a key measure to determine the destiny of contemporary China,and it is also a key measure to achieve the goal of " two hundred years " and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation." The commemoration of reform and opening-up is an important part of the political life of the party and the state.By commemorating it,we can not only summarize historical experience,mobilize reform forces,and express reform determination,but also integrate social forces,consolidate reform consensus,and deepen reform and opening-up.Therefore,the research of the history of reform and opening-up has both theoretical value and practical significance.Based on the above considerations and relevant research results in academia,this thesis sorts out the specific historical facts of the commemorative activities of reform and opening-up,attempts to conduct a panoramic survey of the commemorative activities of reform and opening-up,and summarizes its experience,characteristics and realistic enlightenment,I hope to contribute to the research of the commemorative history of the Chinese Communist Party.The thesis is mainly divided into the following six chapters: Chapter 1,Introduction.This thesis discusses the purpose and significance of the research,the current status of research at home and abroad,research methods and innovations,and the definition of related concepts of research objects.Chapter 2,Reasons for Commemorative Activities of Reform and Opening-Up.This part mainly explicates the reasons for the Communist Party's commemorative activities in three aspects: the need to summarize reform experience and eliminate reform differences;the need to express reform ideas and firm reform determination;the need to consolidate reform consensus and form a reform synergy.Chapter 3,Historical Evolution of Commemorative Activities of Reform and Opening-Up.This part is mainly based on the historical perspective.It starts from the specific historical facts of the commemorative activities of reform and opening-up,and analyzes and discusses the similarities and differences between the commemorative activities of the 10 th,20th,30 th,and 40 th anniversary of the reform and opening-up.It highlights the important value of the reform and opening-up commemorative activities to build consensus and promote the modernization of Marxism in China.Chapter 4,Commemorating Typical Cases of Reform and Opening-Up.This part mainly theoretically summarizes and inducts commemorating typical cases of the "big bag" in Fengyang Xiaogang Village,the establishment of special economic zones,and Deng Xiaoping's southern conversation.Chapter 5,Commemorating Typical Characters of Reform and Opening-Up.This part mainly summarizes and inducts the birthday commemorations of typical characters of Deng Xiaoping,Li Xiannian and Xi Zhongxun.Chapter 6,The Basic Attributes and Modern Enlightenment of Commemoration Activities of Reform and Opening-Up.Since 1978,the party and the state have basically formed the practice of commemorating the tenth anniversary of reform and opening-up,and have used this to periodically reflect on and summarize reform and opening-up.The commemoration of reform and opening-up has shown the following basic attributes in its evolution: the theme is clear,and the commemorative activities have realistic demands;advancing with the times,the commemorative activities highlight attributes of the times;The Communist Party of China can use the commemoration of reform and opening-up to cultivate “four confidences” and highlight the value of commemoration;promote the modernization of Marxism in China and spread the spirit of reform and opening-up;contribute Chinese wisdom and enhance its international influence.
