As a new type of e-commerce,wechat business mode has the advantages of instant communication,diversified information transmission modes,convenient and fast transaction,etc.Meanwhile,its appearance enriches the market current trading mode and infuses fresh blood into the market.Different from traditional online shopping,it mainly updates dynamically through social platforms and conducts commodity transactions through acquaintances between friends.As a product of the Internet economy era,wechat business is changing trade mode and affecting our life.However,while enjoying the convenience brought by the new transaction mode generated by Internet technology,the majority of consumers also suffer from the problem that their rights and interests are damaged.In Chinese wechat business transactions,the problems of consumers' rights and interests protection mainly include four aspects,namely the difficulty in protecting consumers' right to safety,maintaining consumers' right to know,realizing consumers'right to fair trade and realizing consumers' right to claim.The reasons for these problems are imperfect laws and regulations on consumer rights protection,lack of a sound regulatory system and difficulties in consumer rights protection,etc.Based on the relevant concepts,basic characteristics and research status at home and abroad of wechat business,this paper emphatically analyzes the legal relationship between all parties under wechat business mode,and puts forward relevant suggestions about consumer rights protection on this basis.Firstly,relevant legal norms should be improved.In particular,the law on the consumer rights and interests protection was amended to include operators under the wechat business model in its adjustment scope,and detailed rules for the implementation of the e-commerce law were formulated.Besides,improve the market supervision system.We are supposed to build an effective government supervision mechanism,establish a government supervision mechanism with reasonable division of labor,and reduce excessive enforcement of law by multiple means,clarify the responsibility of social platform supervision and review,and strengthen the self-discipline of wechat business industry.Finally,by improving the consumer dispute resolution mechanism,giving full play to the protective role of consumer associations as well as the mediating and supervising feedback,establishing the online dispute resolution mechanism and credit evaluation system,and innovating the commercial arbitration mode,the efficiency of dispute resolution could be improved.In conclusion,to solve the problem of consumer rights protection under wechat business mode,we need to make efforts from all sides,improve relevant laws and regulations,build an effective regulatory system and further expand consumer relief channels,so as to promote the healthy and orderly development of wechat business mode.
