China needs to build a service-oriented government,clarify its own responsibilities at the helm,divide some government functions that can be marketized and socialized,and separate some public services that should not be managed by the government.This channel can be purchased through the government Public services are done.Public participation in the purchase process is conducive to enhancing the government's comprehensive governance capabilities,facilitating the transformation of government functions,and facilitating the efficient purchase of public services by the government.In this paper,the public participation in the public service purchase of the B area government is taken as the research object.Using the theory of service-oriented government in China and the new public service theory abroad,and through questionnaires and interviews,this paper analyzes the status of public participation in the public service purchase of the B area government.And problems,and combined with relevant advanced experience of developed countries and the actual situation in Zone B,put forward countermeasures:transform government functions and establish a service-oriented government concept;strengthen the disclosure of information on government purchases of public services;Of public participation in government procurement of public services;exerting the public's ability in government procurement of public services;improving the supervision and evaluation mechanism of public participation in government procurement of public services.These measures are conducive to improving the level of public participation,improving the quality of public services,and safeguarding the public interest.
