| The contacts between China and Turkey once occupied an important position on the ancient Silk Road.Turkey is located at the border of Asia and Europe,and its geographical location is very important.After the Belt and Road Initiative was put forward,Turkey's strategic position became more prominent,and Sino-Turkey relations became an important research topic.In order to realize the "Turkish dream",Turkey is also actively promoting the Middle Corridor,and actively docking with the Belt and Road Initiative.This dissertation examines domestic and foreign related research on the strategic alignment of the two countries,and considers its results and deficiencies.Taking Complex Interdependence and "Inter-State Cooperation Theory" as the theoretical assumptions,this dissertation analyzes the strategic intentions of the two countries,discusses the achievements and challenges,and aims to provide a reference for policymakers to formulate policies for Turkey.In addition,in view of the weak status of Turkish country research,this dissertation will enrich related research and deepen scholars' understanding of Turkey and the Middle Corridor.This dissertation will use literature analysis,case analysis and other methods to collate and analyze the research results of scholars in china and abroad,and list representative engineering plans and cases for analysis.The reference materials in this dissertation are novel and comprehensive,including not only the latest published master's thesis and official documents,but also the research and comments of well-known scholars.Different from a single perspective in previous research,this dissertation analyzes the challenges of strategic docking and China's response path from multiple perspectives such as government,media,civil organizations,and multinational corporations.This dissertation puts forward a new perspective,focusing on the analysis of the reasons behind the phenomenon,and believes that internal factors will affect state behavior.The theoretical assumptions of this dissertation are clear.It examines the relationship between China and Turkey from the perspective of neoliberalism,specifically based on the Complex Interdependence model of Robert Keohane and Joseph Nye and Helen Milners "Inter-State Cooperation Theory." Under the guidance of this theory,the dissertation considers the reasons and goals of the cooperation between the two sides,influencing factors and possible future directions,and draws conclusions.The strategic docking between China and Turkey is based on their respective national interests and strategic goals.Cooperation between the two sides involves multiple fields such as politics,security,and economics.The military ranks secondary in this process.Based on the analysis in the previous chapters,this dissertation will summarize the necessity and possibility of Sino-Turkey cooperation in the conclusion section,and propose actionable suggestions for China.China should be committed to improving the institutional mechanism and enhancing mutual political trust between the two sides;further expanding opening-up and enhancing industrial competitiveness;making full use of Turkey's own advantages;improving the Belt and Road publicity and promotion methods,and strengthening cooperation with Turkish civil organizations;deepening cooperation between the two parties in the field of anti-terrorism and international organizations;finally,strengthening country research on Turkey.This article is theoretically conducive to enriching the country study of Turkey,deepening scholars'understanding and emphasis on Turkey and its strategy;it is conducive to exploring the cooperation model between China and medium-sized powers,and enriching theoretical research on strategic docking with specific countries.From a practical point of view,it helps to clarify Turkey's strategic position in the Belt and Road Initiative,and provides assistance in solving current problems in Sino-Turkey bilateral relations. |
