Marxism is the theory about human liberation, the understanding of human nature is the basic premise for accurately mastering Marxism.Different from the understanding of previous speculative philosophers,Marx believed that the nature of human beings is " free and conscious practice".Marx's view of freedom starts from the real life of human beings and takes the "real individuals" as the main body,it is a kind of freedom concept which continuously develops and changes with practice.Obviously,Marx opposed speculative philosophy which pursues eternal, static and speculative subjective freedom only in the rational category. In order to accurately grasp Marx's view of freedom,we should not only sort out its evolution process in the history of western philosophy, but also demonstrate its rationality and superiority. Therefore,we are trying to carry out research from these two clues.First of all,Marx's treatise on freedom first appeared in his PhD thesis.Although the view of freedom in the PhD thesis is still immature,it has shown its concern for real individuals. With Marx's vision gradually turned to the field of political economy, his view of freedom gradually sublated the inner abstractness and non-historicity of speculative philosophy but highlighted the practical characteristics, finally forming the view of freedom with unique practice features in the "German Ideology".We through explore the formation and development of philosophy to find: Marx's view of freedom is based on real life, starting from realistic personal practice,it completely subverts the conceptual freedom of speculative philosophy.Secondly, this paper conducts a deeper exploration of "practice",which is the foundation of Marx's view of freedom, and makes a concrete analysis and demonstration of the features of the practical nature within Marx's view of freedom,so as to prove the superiority of the practical nature. In Marx's view, freedom is neither an abstract thing, such as "rational man",country or law,nor should it be limited to the moral realm and speculative reason. But,the freedom should be based on human life activities, with "real individuals" as the subject,so as to make the exploration of freedom return from the heaven to the social reality. Finally, the practical nature of Marx's view of freedom is interpreted, and its theoretical value and practical significance are elucidated. The influence of Marx's view of freedom has had profound significance, but the interpretation of Marx's view of freedom is insufficient in academia. We hold the opinion that Marx's view of freedom contains intrinsic values of "truth","kindness" and "beauty",and is a kind of practical freedom of "living in the present",which means that the dimension of praxis ontology cannot be ignored in the interpretation of Marx's view of freedom. This is the essence of Marx's view of freedom.
